cleanest airport I have ever been in. The shops in the airport have everything and beautifully displayed. Charging stations were everywhere. Tables were plentiful, didn’t have to walk around looking for a spot. The food was also good. I wish I had taken more photos. This airport is beautiful. It feels like a mall with tons of stores including Victoria’s Secret, Guess, BOSS, Desigual, Pandora, and so many more. There’s also a big food court with a bunch of options to pick from and a couple of markets. The gates are spacious and with lots of sitting areas. The only downside I found is the restrooms, there’s not too many and at the time we traveled there were long lines to use it.
We traveled with TAP, our flight was delayed one hour but ended up at our destination safe and sound.
Would definitely recommend the airport for a layover 10/10

airport is nice at first (check in was easy and overall was clean), then you get to the gates and it's crowded with no seating.

lots of flights don't actually board at the gate, so you may get packed way too tightly into a bus by rude employees. it turns into a free-for-all with lots of shoving. then you're stuck on this crowded bus until the plane is ready (like why couldn't we wait in the building?). overall way too stressful and poorly designed

An undersized airport for the amount of people that travel through it. We heard this complaint from locals, and from people at the airport. Drop off locations are too small, as well as the check-in areas. After that you move to security, which is too small. Then customs, where they have nearly a dozen machines for scanning passports, yet only two of them are open. Many people were having problems with the two that were open, and every time people tried to call workers over they were rude and didn't even try to help. I'm usually understanding of airport employees, as they deal with a lot of stupid and mean passengers every day, but the workers at the customs line were just useless. Unless you're a EU citizen, just go through the line with the customs officers, as that line goes surprisingly fast and you won't have to deal with the faulty machines. Once you get past all of that, you will find that the gate areas are tiny. As an American who has experienced many bad airports, I'm surprised that a European airport could be this bad. Locals and tourists agree, something needs to be done to this airport.

Main air gateway to Portugal and the capital city of Lisbon. It is just about 30 minute drive from the central of Lisbon. Arriving passengers would get on the shuttle for a 5 minute drive to the terminals and baggage claim area. It is also a busy airport with many shops and restaurants. Very quick custom step for overseas visitors.

This airport is really organized. Had my doubts but I was checked in and thru security in 15 minutes. Drink and eat once you get thru security. Lots of great places for adults and kids. I choose Cockpit 5
Tapas and Cocktails. Had the grilled chicken sandwich. A spin with grilled onions Swiss cheese and a hint of curry. Very good.
