Incredibly friendly and helpful staff ready to go to the extra mile to assist. While the open layout of the library can result in some noise, a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones easily takes care of that. The library consistently maintains a hight level of cleanliness, including the bathrooms. Furthermore, the staff's attention to detail, such as ensuring forgotten suitcases find their owners, is commendable. Despite a sometimes lengthy commute of over half an hour, I genuinely enjoy working from this location.

I saw a rat and they didn’t let me get a book for the teenager section only the kids I’m 21

This library is quite possibly one of my favorite places on the Rockaway peninsula. I love the range and selection of books available; the staff are kind, courteous, and quick with a smile; the library is always kept clean, and I admire how hard both the custodial and senior staff members of the library work to provide a pleasant browsing experience. I look forward to going to this library every week, and will continue to visit frequently so long as I live in the area. This library provides an invaluable service to our community, and they do it with style and grace.
Friendly helpful staff, from the security greeting you upon entry and the library staff. Very accommodating as my nephew needed scrap paper and a pencil, he got them. Thanks for your service to the community.
I've only been here on a Saturday. It's a gem as far as far Rockaway is concerned. Internet access and black and white printing available. You can scan in color (meaning you must have the document you want to scan on paper or you can scan from a book). During the school year art classes are available. There is an amazing children's section and the librarian in there is very helpful. All in all a good library in the town.
Its better than most libraries. I could not study here though. Very very loud every time I come here. I wish they had quiet rooms or quiet areas.
