Great scenic views of Perth city day and night. Ideal on clear days and during sunset.
Small carpark, can be a slight challenge to access and exit if crossing the road during peak times with traffic.
A lot of rubbish in the area, which is unfortunate. Amble bins in the area and plenty of seating with shaded and sheltered options available.
Public BBQ, open space and a lot of walk trails in the area.

Interesting lookout on the outskirts of Perth. Great place to take photos and videos of the city view from a far. For anyone looking for a bit of scenic photography, I would recommend this place for a great view of nature. Anytime of the day is good, but mostly recommended during sunset especially on a warm day.
Great lookout to see the city from Perth hill region. Was also lucky to spot the aurora at the location even with quite a lot of city lights in the vicinity
The view of Perth is breathtaking! So was bringing in the NEW YEAR 2024, going up Zig-Zag and pulling over to this astounding view. By far the best scenic drive over the hills and out of Perth! Not bad for a rest stop & picnic lunch if you're in the area and there's a coffee van that pulls up round 5am for all the early birds who want to beat peak hour traffic across the CBD :) 😀 😃 🙂
It used to be great. The perfect spot to park up at night and look at the city lights. That was until they installed these giant, blinding bright flood lights that kill the view with light pollution and have ruined it. All i could see out of my peripherals was this blinding light. Take them down. They're ugly and have ruined such a great lookout.
I love lions lookout and very lucky to live opposite it. I walk my dogs there nearly everyday they love the bush walk too😊
While the park has amazing views and BBQ facilities, unfortunately it does not have a playground or toilets.
Hopefully they will renovate it soon.
