Super quick run hike up to the top...was done in about 17 minutes, great view
I've lived up here most of my life. This neighborhood housed me and kept me safe from most of the danger that Palmdale seems to hold. I learned that the hard way when I moved away momentarily. Now I'm back. I understand that the world can be dim and dark but here is where none of that matters. I'm a kid again, scaling to the top of this mountain. Taking the long and steep way there. Just to get out of breath.
If God is real- and whether I'm going to hell or heaven- I would praise him for this hilltop.

Love this hike supper close to our house
Great workout run to get here. Steep hills. Make sure you get some good trail running shoes that can grip the terrain well. If not an expert runner bring some water with you. Got a great tan getting here.
Fairly short hike and pretty steep in some places but a nice view of the AV at the top.
Lonesome chair has a sad lack of chair, but it was a good hike and the views were nice.
Needs more chair! It was a good hike and great view. Sadly, there was no chair to relax on at the top. I did make an ”x” to mark where I imagined the chair to be.
Bless to have this in our community. Everyone in the AV needs to visit this today
