Yamato Sushi

Very fresh sushi, large pieces for the price. Great place for takeout and also have free appetizers if you spend a certain amount. I only wish they’re not always out of sushi rice on a Friday night! Would highly recommend

This is an okay place to get take out for sushi but I believe it's just okay. Beware of the spicy rolls as the majority of it is filler. The sushi is okay. I wouldn't go back, but it's an okay place for sushi. Staff are super nice and the service is good.

Sushi is great here! The people working here are so nice all the time always warm greetings in and out the restaurant. Sushi portions are bigger than other places I go to (double in size), prices are very good. Just not a fan of the brown sauce they add to certain rolls (my mistake not omitting that from my last order). My order was prepared fast and already waiting for me when i arrived for pickup

I have been to this place several times for convenience only because it is close to work. The first time shortly after they opened they were good and friendly. Now they don't answer the phone for order ahead service anymore. They are rude and they do not treat you well. Their salmon crisp roll is made with rice Krispies! I wanted to get a yam roll and they told me I had to wait for at least 20 min. This is a two man business and during high demand times it is not a good option at all. I am not going back. Too bad

I love being able to customize a platter so this has got to be one of my favorites for that reason! The only "problem" is that they're not open for very many days during the week so I can't get my sushi fix whenever I want 😂 but honestly, so worth the wait haha

🧀 I typically don't like cream cheese in my rolls BUT this is an exception!
🧀 This roll has smoked salmon, asparagus, lettuce, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, and masago 🥳
🧀 This roll has a lot going on but I really feel like it works 🤯

Thoroughly enjoyed our take out experience and food at Yomato. Ordered the assorted sashimi, black dragon roll and gyoza appetizer which all surpassed our expectations. Thank you to the kind staff who took our order and speedy yet careful preparations of our food by the chefs.

NOTHING BEATS YAMATO!!!!
Fresh and delicious sushi
Amazing fish to rice ratio
Great, friendly service 😁
Very reasonable prices.

We travelled across South America and decided to try to see if we could find ANY sushi places that could even come close to Yamato - nothing touched it. We are huge sushi people and have NEVER been disappointed by Yamato!!!!!

Excellent for take out! I love their rice ratio for their maki rolls. One of my favourite rolls here is the spicy scallop, it is quite spicy and the prices are quite good. I would recommend this place for take out mostly as the space inside is quite small.
