Not sure what the appeal of the gum wall is, seems a bit gross. I didn’t walk that far down Post Alley as it wasn’t something I was keen to see. Also don’t touch it - way to many nasties
Cute historic alley here in Seattle , lots to do and see around, places to chill and good for photography opportunities. The famous 🍬The gum wall is on the southern most end and pike place market is at the western waterfront area of post alley. There is hotels and parking and public transportation nearby...and its not far from the cruise ship terminal too
We were in Seattle and doing all the touristy things (the usual), and read about bubble gum alley (the unusual). It is exactly what it sounds like - an alley coated with bubble gum. Yeah, it’s both pretty neat and pretty gross. And it does smell just like bubble yum -

A unique place to visit if you are in the Public Market area in Seattle. And yup, it smells like Double Bubble!!!!!

Amazing! I spent my whole life dreaming of visiting the Pacific Ocean and this is a great introduction! Post Alley is right in Pike Place Market and there are places to eat, drink, and people watch because there is a constant flow of locals and tourists every day. If you are hungry or just sightseeing, then definitely check out this alley on your way to the farmers market.
