They usually have what I’m looking for and they’re usually fairly stocked up on most things. They are definitely understaffed but that’s to be expected. Every staff interaction I’ve had has been lovely. They are very willing to help

SHOUT OUT TO THE MANGER AND SAM ON DUTY TODAY!!! Thank you sooo much for being patient and understanding about my mother’s Singer sewing machine exchange. Unfortunately we didn’t get the same service in Milford, CT. Me and mom were losing hoping thinking no one will help us fix our sewing machine not even the Singer sewing machine company. Thank you, Sam for helping my mom with making sure that the new sewing machine works and being EVERY patient with us. Not going to any other Joann fabric location instead of Joann fabric Scarsdale,NY.

Joann should have better customer service training. Every time I have asked anyone for assistance they provide some type of excuse. I asked to see if they could recommend a material for a specific project I had; instead of asking for more details on the project the immediate response was, “I can’t help you if you don’t know what kind of material you want”. Isn’t that point on asking them for their professional opinion? I made the effort to calmly said thank you and refer to the customer service approach. I was told I was rude. I firmly believe that employees represent the company. If the approach is that “I don’t know so I can’t help you” then it’s a wrong representation of the company. Even if the employee is not sure please make an effort to find someone who can’t help the customer. Every time I go I feel that no one cares about the customer and anyone that works is unhappy. I am an optimist and hope I am wrong but it has happened way too many times. Please provide better customer service training to your employees.

As another reviewer stated no prices they ripped out the price checkers years ago & never replaced them. How is that customer service? I never found the staff to be rude but first you must find them. My experience is they want to be helpful but the stores keep it understaffed & even in the quietest parts of the day you will wait in line. I'm a visual artist so I don't understand why they're stocked w candles, ready to wear jewelry & pre-made decorations along w plaques saying Live Love Laugh when they could stock a more extensive selection of art supplies. Not for the truly creative.

It is hard to find the store. There is no big sign from the outside of the mall, but you can do it following the signs that they put everywhere. The store is huge and great for people who love craft. You can find everything there! It is like a better version of ‘Michael’s’. I was specifically looking for cotton yarn and the choice was great! I wound what I need and staff was helpful and nice. This is my new store now.

8-2-2023. Just stopped in to look for needle point and was met with Halloween stuff??? 😡

I found what I needed. I had to hem my son's pants. It worked like a charm. Made my life so much easier!

Loved the experience here. Went 20+ minutes before closing and Jenn was very patient with helping me to find what I needed online by writing the item number and helping me to get information about the online deal. The ladies in the store were very friendly and professional. I look forward to coming back to this location. Thank you Jenn for a great experience.

Compared to Michael's this store is a bit better. I love their larger varieties in everything. It's a bit further away from me so I'm not able to come here often but it's ok, when I come it's worth it. I love their deals and they have military discount. I enjoy doing all types of crafts and this place is a one stop shop. They also offer lessons if you want to learn a specific craft. When you come in to this store you need to knw what you want u want to do before coming in the store because you can get lost and over welhemd with everything. I will be back.
