A really nice sculpture of a literary great featuring characters and hidden gems from some of his most famous works. For any fans of literature this sculpture is a must visit when in Boston.

Poe came back to Bosten and this statue of him honors this fact. It's a wonderful work and the plates around give informations.

Twas a cold and blustery Bostonian evening.
All the creatures were out and about creeping.
Along came a madman to meet Mr. Poe and his raven.
Only a his heart could tell how to stop his cravings.

We were happy to find this area, and the statue is quite fun!

Not much to see... But it is in front of the hop on hop off bus booth...

And a statue of Poe and his tell tale heart, of course.

Been wanting to see the statue for so long. It lived up to what I hoped it was beautiful. Need to sell replicas somewhere.

This is one of the few places in Boston that honors the late Edgar Allan Poe. It's a small area with a nice statue to take photos with. Make sure to check it out when your at Boston Common (it's across the street)
Derek Mignerey
Neat little area and especially an important place if you are a Poe fan. Be sure to notice the pages worked into the brickwork behind the statue as if you are visiting at night they're not easy to see.
