We had our wedding in September 23 2023 with 200 people attended and it was a dream come true. Fantastic venue, outstanding service. The management was very responsible. Accommodating, always available when needed. We felt very well taken care of, and we would recommend this venue anytime for whatever the occasion.

Attending my friend's wedding at the Astoria World Manor's Great Hall on August 25, 2023, was an experience that encapsulated both the enchantment of the venue and areas that could use enhancement. This review aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the various aspects I encountered during this joyous occasion.

Aesthetic Grandeur and Dedicated Staff:
Stepping into the Great Hall was like entering a realm of opulence. The sparkling chandeliers, intricate decor, and expansive layout painted a picturesque scene for the celebration. The staff's unwavering dedication was palpable throughout the event. Their tireless work and respectful demeanor ensured that every facet of the evening was executed flawlessly. Their professionalism and attentiveness contributed significantly to the positive experience.

Parking Convenience and Accessibility:
The availability of ample and complimentary parking was a boon for attendees. The hassle-free parking arrangements reflected a considerate gesture on the part of the venue, ensuring that guests could arrive without any undue stress. This seamless convenience was a commendable highlight of the experience.

Culinary Journey:
As I embarked on the culinary journey that evening, I found myself oscillating between moments of delight and mild disappointment. While certain dishes elicited praises from fellow guests, there were instances where the fare fell short of expectations. Personally, I would rate the overall dining experience at a respectable 7/10. The menu's variety was appreciated, though execution inconsistencies occasionally left room for improvement.

Facility Concerns and Reflections:
Regrettably, the issue of bathroom stall locks became apparent during the event. The malfunctioning locks led to unintended and somewhat embarrassing situations for attendees. This dampened the overall guest experience, as privacy and comfort in such settings are paramount. Additionally, the absence of a designated space for prayer (salat) was a sentiment shared by many attendees, including myself. Providing a serene and private area for religious practices would undoubtedly enhance the inclusivity of the venue.

Echoes from Fellow Guests:
Engaging in conversations with fellow attendees, it was evident that the venue's charm and the dedicated staff had made a lasting impression. The opulent atmosphere lent itself to a memorable celebration, and the staff's commitment was highly regarded. Regarding the culinary offerings, opinions varied—some dishes garnered high praise, while others garnered more modest assessments. The topic of bathroom stall locks was a recurring discussion, emphasizing the need for improvement in this aspect. Moreover, the lack of a dedicated prayer space was a shared concern, demonstrating the importance of catering to diverse needs.

In Summation:
Reflecting on my friend's wedding at Astoria World Manor's Great Hall, it was clear that the venue holds promise for unforgettable celebrations. The visual splendor and diligent staff were integral to the event's success. While certain facets, such as the culinary experience and the bathroom facilities, warrant attention, the foundation is undeniably strong. With a commitment to refining these areas, the venue has the potential to offer an even more exceptional and inclusive experience for all guests.

If you're looking to do a lavish wedding or celebration/event in a catering hall but on a budget, you should consider this hall. Had my mom's 90th birthday party here 2 weeks ago and it was a great success! This hall is not as restrictive as most. You can use your own decorators and entertainment(as long as they have insurance). They are willing to work with you to help make your event successful and memorable. Vicente the manager was friendly, and accommodating. Angie our maitre D, was helpful and one step ahead before I can tell her what I needed. The staff were great. The guests were happy and enjoyed the food. The room we chose was bright and pretty.

The space was nice had a great wedding but mostly due to my personal coordinator and decorator . The event managers are really hands off and when it came closer there was lack of communication. The food was okay, I already expected it not to be all that. My guests did complain how hot it was even after a meeting we had before the event I specifically inquired about air conditioning . The food servers were nice although some did not understand English. Not a problem just caught us off guard as some were requesting certain things like a chocolate cake and they looked lost. The Maitre D offended me when she said that I looked like a little girl. Not what a Bride wants to hear on her wedding day especially that I am in my thirties. She was also trying to push how she thought my wedding should be again lack of communication because I already discussed that I didn’t want to do so many toasts. I didn’t have a traditional wedding and I didn’t appreciate someone tying to put their traditional views on me. She was also trying to force me to take cake when I wanted all my guests to take it. I don’t care for the tradition of couples saving the top piece. I guess I would advise more listening to what I want rather than what they are used to. But how would she know that if she never even met me before the event? Perhaps the maitre d should be involved in the meeting process? Also didn’t like how I was asked to complete a paper review on the spot as am enjoying my wedding. I put on the paper y’all were organized but this review is the true sum of my experience. Still had a great day.

We had our wedding here where over 500 people attended and it was a dream come true. Fantastic venue, outstanding service. The management was very responsible, responsive, and accommodating, always available when needed. Whatever unexpected surprises came up, they were always there to handle it and would communicate us through the whole process before even executing. We felt very well taken care of, and we would recommend this venue to any of our friends or family in the future anytime for whatever the occasion.

On Saturday March 25th, 2023 I celebrated my granddaughters Quinceañera at the Astoria World Manor with my family and friends. The place is beautiful and everything I requested was heard. The venue looked amazing. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it. The staff members and the Manager Vicente Rojel provided an amazing customer service. I definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to host an event. The food was good and it was enough for the guests. The cake was beautiful and it tasted amazing as well. Vicente was always very attentive to all the details. We were very happy to have celebrated this event here and will continue to keep them in mind for any future events.

I had my wedding in this amazing place, we took some beautiful photos, I love how they decorated my cake .
it is a bit expensive and at first it seems like it is worth it.

I left very upset because They gave me dirty tablecloths + they charged me $250 tips for the waiter + $250 for the bartender + $250 for a supposed organizer who was supposed to help us so that everything went well at the party, I had no problem with everything they charged me until I realized that I simply paid for a service that I did not receive because the party was a buffet and the only thing the waiters had to do was pick up the plates from the table and they did not do that, I also asked them to please provide dessert to the guests and they just ignored me! … the supposed organizer did nothing but stress me all night, my party was over at 11 and from 8 she was already asking me to cut the cake, telling me that we had to go.

They served us a salted fish that no one could eat and we had to pay for the fish anyway.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM 5 STARS IF THE STAFF HAD BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND ATtENTIVE !
