This museum was a really pleasant surprise for me. It holds a charming mixture of paintings (including Botticelli), sculpture, furniture and porcelain, all very nicely displayed and explained, together with the collection's and the building's history. I managed to walk through all of it in about 90 minutes without rushing myself, and was even able to revisit some of the exhibits that I particularly liked. This was certainly EUR 14 well spent.

Fantastic museum with many great artworks including from the likes of Lucas Cranach the Elder, Tiepolo, and Canaletto. Also a phenomenal current exhibition on Piero della Francesco, reuniting an altarpiece for the first time, including loans from the Frick Collection and the National Gallery in London.

Well worth a visit but not what I'd call a "must" unless you have a particular interest. Lots of information in English so the audio guide isn't essential. Some truly stunning art, sculpture and furniture the armoury alone was worth the visit for me.

Good and interesting to see, but not all stuff speak English. If you have any questions then go to entance and speak with people there. I was not able to visit second floor until friendly guy at entrance explained me that I need to leave my bags in secured cell with digital lock.

✨ Came here on a weekend, booked in advance and spent inside 3 hours.

🌞 The museum has various things to see: from armor to weapons, from paintings to sculptures, to a spectacular collection of watches.

🩶 Some rooms were stunning themselves, with tons of decorations on the walls and ceiling.

☠️ my personal bonus was that I found 14 skulls in this museum.

✨ we found inspiration and we might come for more!

Great museum full of paintings, ceramics and weapons.
Entry is 14 eur but I used a booking voucher without any issues.

Wonderful museum that's home to a large collection of paintings by mostly painters from the Lombardy region and all kinds of artifacts (including armor, jewelry, pottery and coins) that belonged to the aristocrat Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli. It's right in the heart of Milano and it's not very crowded so you can buy the ticket in situ. It's a great visit for art lovers.

Very lovely museum, very beautiful collection, I visited during the day to check it out. Was very well preserved and very nicely displayed, with a very authentic atmosphere. It has a classic look and old medieval feel to building. Very interesting, informative and educational. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re into antiques, weaponry and history.
