Well maintained, easy to navigate between terminals and gates. Highly skilled and reliable staff. Always at your convenience to help you out while at the airport.
Ample food options. Toilets and rest areas are many and very comfortable. Many designated smoking areas in the terminals. Many food options for all age groups.
Security lines were fast to get thru before transit. The duty free shops are close to the terminals gates but I find them priced higher than most American or Canadian airports

This airport offers a good seating area with ample space for travelers to relax. There's also a wide selection of restaurants to choose from, making it easy to grab a meal before your flight.

However, there's room for improvement in the cleanliness of the restrooms. During my visit, they weren't up to the standard I expected, and there was an unpleasant odor inside.

The duty-free shops are convenient, but I found the prices slightly higher compared to Heathrow's duty-free. While it's nice to have the option, budget-conscious travelers might want to plan their shopping accordingly.

I had a positive experience at this airport. It's a good airport overall. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was helpful. Security and check-in processes were efficient, making my travel experience smooth and hassle-free.

Amazing airport though it's a small one....directions and signs are perfect for navigation....and also the cleanliness is much appreciated and is unlike many other airports I have been to. There are extensive security checks done occasionally but that's just routine ones. Terminal 1 and 3 are interconnected which makes it easy for transfers and layovers

Well managed, clean, efficient with short distances to baggage claim and passport control - would always prefer to fly through Abu Dhabi, even if your destination is Dubai. (Dubai Airport is often severely overcrowded with long waiting times and walking distances).
In comparison Abu Dhabi airport is a pleasing experience.

Terminal 1 is nice and cosy but Terminal 3 is too crammed, especially near boarding time and around Gate 51. We need to take a long bus ride to the plane. Paid lounge also crowded. Shower room is free but need to have proper place to put your bags or luggage and to hang your clothes to prevent from getting wet from the splash.
