Closed for maintenance least the boat ramp and fishing pier is. Looks like once done and they appear to be working on it will be really nice again
It's a dump. No bathrooms, all picnic tables and areas are trashed, old abandoned bait shop and store closed down and fishing bridge broke down and closed. Way to go again Pensacola!!!
Had to go for a walk and feed all the birds. My wife and I love Wayside and can't wait for it to be finished.
Love this park! Great place park to walk the 3 mile bridge, also great for fishing and just relaxing. It was clean and well maintained, and feels safe. Great for families. I just wished there was a restroom. Park is faily new so maybe one is in the works?
The new wayside park it's already 10 times better than the other one and it's not done yet. Once they get the pier and the boat ramp open, it's going to be amazing. It has way more space, nice benches, lots of parking, and both sides of the bridge are connected.
Great boat launch area, one of the nicest public launch I have ever seen.
