Amazing views from different points in the park, specially the bridge, and there are fun little trails as well. On the cement path you can ride a bike, skate board, scooter, great for running, doing cardio in general. Awesome park and it is huge so you won't really be getting bored any time soon.
5/30/2024 It’s a beautiful park to get your car BROKEN INTO the same day council member Joaquin Martinez was there. Run for 30? You mean Run and steal in 30? Went on a quick run and came back to my broken window and my car ransacked for my purse. All I could think is - I’m sorry to whoever did this. You must have needed the $0 dollars in my purse. I prayed for you. Prayed because if you have the need to do this you must be down low. You must need it more than me. I pray you find god, search for resources in the area and get help. But let’s be real, you got nothing from me. I don’t carry cash, it’s 2024 we’re cashless. My bank stopped the $500 purchases you attempted at Kroger on Polk and immediately locked itself. I have zero credit cards. Zero cash. & you got NOTHING from me. What a pity. Run & steal in 30. Within 30 min of my run you stole my purse & attempted 2 $500 purchases at Kroger w both declined. Then went to Exxon & guess what? The cards are frozen. Sad. YET this park hosts events and there’s criminals in the park lurking to break into cars and nothing is done. I would not bring my children here if I had any. Y’all don’t even have restrooms & it smells like piss. Do better council members.
This place is my childhood went today and a flood of memories came to me and now they are fixing it up with the bayou footpaths and a new footbridge across the bayou wish I had my beach cruiser with me but it was the first time my kids went there and they loved like I did definitely going back to see it made better
It's a beautiful park to walk around and has a scenic lookout. The park also has a number of trails to walk around and jog. You can view some animals like birds, turtles, ducks, and fish.
We love Mason park! It's safe, clean, and large enough to get a substantial ride or walk in. We used to live by Memorial Park and it was always so so crowded, but Mason Park is a little bit of a hidden gem, so no crowds!
Beautiful big park. Playground and swings for the little ones. Community Swimming pool. A ton of baseball fields and a soccer field. Plus there's a bridge going over the river.
I love the vibe at this park, great sights and you can tell that the city is really trying to add upgrades to the park. I just really wish that they would open up the swimming pool to the community. City Bikes are available here and Bike tool stands are also here for the community to use. You can get some good running here with new freshly paved trails.
Beautiful, porta potty available. No AC restroom. park has a pool, community center, baseball, football, soccer fields and paved walking, running trails. I went on Sunday. A gentleman also sell chips and drinks. It is a strong Hispanic community.
