The DJ at Tin Roof is amazing! Really loved all the songs and the entire setlist. Been here a couple of times with friends to enjoy the music & hit the dance floor. The food here is also good. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good pub to dance, the vibes are A1. Only drawback is the entry is often crowded, but the line also moves quickly. Great place to spend Friday nights in Raleigh!
I love Tin Roof. I don’t even feel guilty about it. The bands can be hit or miss but it’s free live music! The liquor pours are surprisingly generous. The drink prices are on the cheap side for Glenwood South. And all of the staff I have interacted with have been super friendly. Tin Roof is the beating heart of Glenwood South.
Was in here and ran across the street to get a snack then came back and security said I can't come in because I had jeans on? I was just in there and I also had a dress shirt and dress shoes on. I'm just going to say he was a hater. So just beware of their not so smart security.
Super fun place for Karoake on Wednesday nights. The crowd is awesome and the bartenders are great. Song bingo on Tuesday was fun too!
Henry & cody rock.. but Tyler is the best bartender! Henry enjoys being cat called and is the best security out there
I was filling in for the Bassist of the Tricia Ann Band. We were band #2 of 3 that evening. The waitstaff and bartender were friendly and took good care of our guests. The sound guy was cool, and he knew what he was doing.
I recommend Tin Roof in Raleigh NC as both a place to eat and chill as well as a venue to perform, and I hope to be back again.

Located in the heart of Glennwood is a music-driven bar complete with food, dance, and just pure fun.
We hung out here and had some drinks and fries while waiting for our reservation at a nearby restaurant.
Street parking is available, with the standard 2-hour parking Monday thru Friday. They have a rooftop, an open bartop (where you can sit and watch people walk along), and plenty of indoor seating (to listen to whoever is on stage).
When we were there, they had an amazing performer who sang covers by Tay-tay and other recognizable artist. I say amazing because he must have sang a laundry list of songs in his falsetto for a couple of hours. The performer had everyone moving, and I felt really at home there. They had other artists who sang country, so don't worry if Daris Rucker is more your wagon wheel.
Service was friendly and laid back.
I had a Kentucky mule that I would recommend. It's probably one of the best, and you could end up sipping all afternoon! The fries were good, and they had a good selection of bar food that was easy to order and very shareable.
Midas 5-stars for a fun place to be with other people looking for the same!

The food isn't bad, but it's definitely misrepresented on the menu. Buyer be warned- if you're buying any "spicy" dish on the menu, it won't be hot in the slightest. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken and it's offensive to call that hot chicken. It didn't taste bad, but there was no kick at all. My friend got the hot wings and had similar complaints. We honestly both ended up asking for buffalo sauce on the side. The service wasn't bad but it was incredibly slow. We came for a themed trivia night and it was fun. And the drink specials are definitely nice. I would say Tin Roof isn't worth going just for the food but it's a fun place to go for events.
