Beautiful view
Nice waterfront park along the Raritan river. Includes a small playground, walkway and some seating. Plaque commemorating the history of Sayreville, notably the Sayre & Fisher Brick company. Pretty clean and well maintained. Beautiful place to catch a sunset.
Nice small park, formerly known as the River Road Park, renamed in 2006 to the Ken Buchanan Riverfront Park. Just in case you don't know, it's not about Ken Buchanan, the English boxer, but a veteran of World War II, who was one of the people responsible for getting the boat launch established during his 18-year tenure with the Borough Council. He was also involved in securing a grant to build Kennedy Memorial Park and other recreational projects.
The small riverfront walkway tells the history of early Sayrevill and the Sayre&Fisher Company (particularly, the brick plant) that made this town to grow up.
