Brant Wildife Sanctuary is a natural and preserved area of land that is predominantly a Marsh. There are no bathrooms or recreational activities.
This place is great for bird watching, a movie set location, or for simply for sitting on top of Jamaica Bay. There are no seats available and this area sits between two or more homes.

It's spelled wrong. It should be "Brandt wildlife Sanctuary". Cool spot to see the A train passing the bridge in the sunset.
Needs a Lil maintenance. Lots of rubbish from storms and fishing. But still beautiful and quiet.
It could be a lot better than what I had seen. If they would (Parks Department), put a little time into it. Take up the liter, cut some of the weeds, and add a couple of benches. It could be a nice area to watch the planes take off and view what wildlife that's left around the area. The only problem is that the bugs are nuts in the ☀️ around here. The park or wildlife area is split between residential and commercial. The North side is facing J.F.K Airport runway, which is at the end of 69th Street and Bayfield. Then split between residential going West a block and raps around and splits again. That's when you see the Crossbay (A/S) Train Bridge. I don't think the clearance at the end of Almeda Ave. Is a part of Brant Point? If not, it should be. That is after it's cleared of all the rusting heavy equipment.
Nice place 👌 but it needs cleaning up come on nyc government this place needs love... (no drone flying too close to jfk)
I've only been once, a long time ago. Im a native New Yorker and Im taking initiative to keep my city clean. Iv organized a covid safe beach clean up Sunday 3pm 8/23/2020 and a yoga class after. Please reach out with any questions [email protected] As there will be future events as well.
Cool place to visit reminds me of being kid running through marshlands , interesting natural beauty .
