I felt welcomed with the beautiful fountain in entrance of the zoo and there were animals but i think there could be more animals. Place is big with many trees but grasses should be trimmed so, that it wouldnt look messed up.

Best place for relaxation and watch the whole jungle at a single place. No cruelty towards animals and birds and maintained at their natural habitat . Kids are sure to enjoy in this place. If you are visiting for the first time , then it will take minimum of 2 hours to observe all the animals and birds including the Tiger , Ostrich , Hippopotamus , eagle owl , Elephant , alligator , baboon and many more wild animals.

The Central Zoo in Lalitpur is a great place for families and animal lovers. It’s well-maintained, with a variety of animals and habitats. The zoo is educational and fun, making it a worthwhile visit for both locals and tourists. It’s a small but significant part of the city’s attractions. 🐾
Nice place to visit but at the same time improves could be done for the wellness of the enlisted creatures. The area could be further increased inside the cages and more vegetation related to enlisted species could be planted in their respective places or cages .
It's the only zoo in Kathmandu, and some say it's the only one in Nepal too. There were lots of animals like tigers, leopards, bears, rhinos, hippos, elephants, snakes, birds, and monkeys. We went on a Saturday, which is a public holiday in Nepal, so the zoo was really busy. Inside, there are a few places to eat lunch or snacks. There's also a small lake where you can go boating in paddle boats. To skip the line for tickets, you can buy them online through their website or the Khalti app. The prices are different for Nepali citizens and other nationalities. The zoo is really clean, and the management team does a great job of keeping everything running smoothly. It's probably the best zoo in the whole country.

Come to this zoo. You get very close to many animals and it feels so old like ruins of past zoological ambitions. You can see two lovely single horned rhinos and giant goofball sloth bears. Make a donation and make a big impact even with few dollars.
