Our whole family loves to walk here and feed the turtles. And the kids love the playground. Here you can see ducks, fish and turtles. And it’s very beautiful here.
My 6 yr old granddaughter caught a nice size turtle all by herself. First fishing experience. Woohoooo!
Nice park. Very quiet and yet popular. Say a prayer at the cross in front of the parking lot. It's for my longtime, highschool friend, Jessica Driskell, who passed away after having a motorcycle accident on the road before the park existed.
Awesome park with a great jogging path and playground. I just wish that there were more shaded seating near the playgrounds.
This is a really nice and quiet park and clean with kids over there and we had a couple of laps in the bikes and then they headed to the playground, highly recommended for end of day walk.
Beautiful place for taking photography or getting a group together for tai chi or walking or meditating. Extremely peaceful little slice of comfort which feels isolated and away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Gorgeous sunsets and surprisingly not being attacked by mosquitoes.
Pros:
Fishing, quiet, easy parking, safe, don’t need a permit to shoot photo or video
Cons:
No real protection from inclement weather conditions, there doesn’t appear to be any on-site security, limited playground equipment, haven’t caught any fish yet

Such a pretty place to take a walk or let the kids play on the playground. Especially towards sunset, you can get some great pictures and your walking view is beautiful. There is a huge walking/running/biking track, with two different paths depending on how far you want to go. There is a really cool bridge that you can cross over on the shortest path, stop and feed the turtles, or just take in the sights.
