Fine pub with cozy atmosphere. Excellent selections and friendly knowledgeable bartenders. Thank you Rodrigo for the tasty drinks and the impeccable service!!
Couple of quick pints after work and to watch the football. Nice old place in amongst all the newer corporate buildings. Decent range of beers
Ordered the prime rib and yorkshire, but the prime rib was way overcooked. My wife had a burger, and it was a hit. The dessert, a sticky toffee pudding, took over 45 minutes to arrive after we finished the meal, so it was taken off the bill.
What a cool place! We had the Vintage Mac and cheese and it was outstanding. Great cocktails and nice pint of beer. We say upstairs and the bartender was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend checking out this historic pub.
This is my first and only Fish and Chips experience in London. I really liked it. The bar is packed when I got in, so had to maneuver and wait for a bit for a table. But the drinks and the fish and chips are great! I loved how crispy my fish is, and the chips are very tasty as well. Lots of people here seem just to hangout after work, so very nice. Overall highly recommend this place.
The Albert is a well-known pub in central London. It’s a great spot to watch a match with big TVs. Good selection of beers and a few ciders. I ordered the Steak and Ale pie with cabbage and mash and gravy which was great and quite British. When in London…The fish and chips also looked good. There are plenty of tables both up and downstairs.
Can't really judge the food as only had a snack. But the pub and atmosphere lovely. Beautiful old pub, so well decorated keeping the character of the old style and not ruining it's style. Nice and clean. I loved this pub would definitely go again. Good selection of drinks, too.
We visited The Albert for lunch. Nice selection of beer on tap. They offer the usual London pub menu. I tried the fish cakes. It was OK. Friendly service. Remember to order at the bar.
