Doha international airport was a delight. We got the special package where they transition you through customs, etc. quicker. The airport is sparkling clean and they have a variety of restaurants and stores to shop from. They actually have a garden in the middle of the airport that has huge trees and looks divine. They also have numerous gigantic sculptures spread throughout the airport. It makes you want to visit the actual city of Doha!
This is truly one of the best, if not the best, airports in the world.
I’ve traveled through Doha numerous times on Qatar Airways - I’ve had layovers that were 6 hours and layovers that were 45 minutes. They’ve all been smooth and comfortable. The airport is incredibly well organized, the signage is thorough, and there are plenty of options to keep yourself occupied and satisfied. The bathrooms and prayer rooms and very clean.
They’ve also added a beautiful Singapore-esque garden in the airport, which only elevates and already positive experience.
The airport had some small additions for the 2022 World Cup - although I will say that was the period in which traveling through Doha was worst. The crowds were managed very well and it didn’t feel too distributive - though it certainly wasn’t quite as smooth sailing as non World Cup times.

It’s a world class airport. Provided friendly service. So many duty free shops, coffee shops and restaurants are there. Through out your transit you can enjoy the airport facilities. However, gate directions are not properly mentioned. Usually, to get to gate A and B from gate C, you should get the cable train. To get to the cable train also you have to walk a great deal.
