I was worried that I will not be able to spend here night hours before my 6am flight, but all went fine.

Pros:
*Easy to get from center via metro line 3,5 even in night hours.
*a lot of soccets, super comfortable sofas and chairs near gates 15-20

Cons:
*uncomfortable chairs in departure lobby. Impossible to lay down
*on security they shout to "push your stuff" on a belt. So the belts seemed like not working.

I had the most bizarre experience at the security check at this airport. I put my back pack and passport on the blue tray but when I got the tray back, my passport was missing. I tried to talk to the security guard but he refused to talk to me in English. I used to google translate to tell him that my passport was missing but he replied with a shoulder shrug!!!! When I insisted on getting an answer, he pointed at my back pocket and the tray, suggesting that my passport must be somewhere there. I had to wait until another guard arrived. I told her about the situation and asked her to check to see if my passport had dropped on the belt or inside the machine (of course using google translate). She told the person who sits by the machine and to my biggest surprise, the person picked my passport from a desk beside her and handed it over. It almost seemed like she had picked my passport and placed it on that desk. I understand that accidents happen but I don’t understand why the first security guard refused to help me find my passport at first place. I guess the Canadian passport is a hot commodity these days and people are willing to take stupid risks to get one! This was by far my worst experience at an Spanish airport!

Good airport !
Small with all what you will need to wait for your trip ! I prefer this kind of airport than the big ones !
You can reach it by public transport (easy access)
1 main terminal
There is a Starbucks, duty free for some shopping and other coffee shops

Simple, easy access and have only one terminal. So all departure will be in one place. After passport security nothing inside only one cafe for those on
1-5 gates.

Very nice airport! Great friendly staff! but!!! If you arrived in the evening at 22.00, you can't take the subway! Or there is a train that goes 1 time in half an hour! Arrive at 22.00, leave the airport at 23.00, go down to the subway to wait for the subway until 23.37!!!??? This is terrible! How can this be!!! We arrived at 22 and couldn't get home by metro, we had to take a taxi, even though we have a direct line from the airport metro to home!!! For this I put 1 point! The whole charm of the airport was crossed out by the disorganization of the metro line!!!!

Nice airport. Business lounge is not so good, only sandwiches there. Non-schengen area flight are on the left in departure hall. Security checks are fast

Good airport located to the west of the city. You can reach it by taxi or car in a very comfortable way. The building is relatively new and very bright. There you will find several car rentals (most of them are very cheap). It’s also full of airlines that fly from there.
I think it’s the one of the best gateways to visit the city of Valencia.

Nice clean and small airport that does the job well. Looks as though there is also renovations going on.

Duty free has the right amount for the size. Worth noting you can drink the tap water in Valencia, unfortunately I could not locate a water fountain in the arrivals though was able to find one during the departures (as per the photo).

Metro is conveniently below the airport itself and a nice walk there. However, there appears to always be a quite for the machines (when arriving and departing; long lines. Could be worth having a few more around to speed things up).

Queues are long though do move reasonably fast.

Overall good experience.
