Great place to wonder around more so in a morning first thing before it gets too peopley

Disappointed, it was very quiet when I went with two friends, and the zoo seems to lack much variety, plenty of birds, but not a lot else.
Parking is free but then you are hit with a hefty £11+ charge to enter the park. We were in their for a little over an hour and left begrudging the charge.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my disabled Mum. The house is really well adapted for wheelchair users. A push wheelchair was provided which we needed to transfer into from the motor scooter. There were lifts to the second floor, and small elevator platforms to reach the rooms with steps into them. The staff were attentive, helpful and sympathetic to our needs.

Never been before, and what a real treat. Can highly recommend. House, gardens lovely, and a road train available to take you into town. Well worth a visit.

It's a lovely place to relax, walk, meet friends, have a snack, enjoy seeing the animals, and the house is full of great exhibits.

Nice house and grounds with on-site café and gardens .There's a dedicated room to air pilot Amy Johnson. Also has a small zoo. Nice way to spend the day. I found it to be rather pricey but it does give you access to all amenities

Nice walk around with the dogs, especially as decorations up for Christmas. Lots of friendly squirrels. Can see the donkeys and sheep without access to the zoo area and a nice cafe/ toilets on site.

I think I've reviewed this place before, nevertheless, here's another. Being just a 25 min walk from my home, Sewerby park, part of Sewerby hall & gardens is ine of my favourite places to spend some "me time". There is a woodland walk here, which follows the perimeter of the property, it's a beautiful & natural place to take in the sights & sounds of nature. I always take my camera, (amateur photographer), woodland birds are a favourite subject for me, so many different species, plus, there are regular visits of Roe deer, I've even seen a Stoat, also this time of year, (Spring), the natural flora is in abundance, carpets of bluebells & wild garlic are a beautiful sight, along with the house, it's various attractions, the walled garden & rose garden, Sewerby park is a wonderful location to spend some quality time, I can't recommend it enough.
