Historic place at Lowell Observatory. It is one amazing refractory telescope with 26” diameter.
I had such a blast! The tours are super informative and the history is out of this world, literally!!
Very cool experience if you are in flagstaff you have to go here!!
Excellent chance to see inside an observatory, look through a huge telescope and see the detail of the moon! The rest of the site is awesome too.
The architecture within the observatory is a spectacle without viewing the night sky! Sadly due to inclement weather conditions the observatory wasn't allowing any space viewings. Nevertheless, the interior alone was worth touring!
This is the largest telescope I've ever seen. Yes, they let you view through it after a certain time in the evening.
Go check out the dates when to observe the moon craters. Also nice view across the city!
