Beautiful spot to relax and soak in the sun alongside the picturesque backdrop of Lake Michigan ☀️
Had a picnic. Some teens football fell in the water and everyone watched them try to get it out. It’s the closest thing I’ve seen to community since the start of the pandemic
Beautiful place , we have a great time and it's perfect for relax and doing a lot of things .
Beautiful spot, good breeze usually and view of the lake. Nice shade trees around the edges providing a decent percentage of shaded area, plenty of trash cans and such, and really a great picnic spot as named. Right next to the bird sanctuary as well which has great nature trails. Also right next to a series of ramps down to the lake that look graded well enough for wheelchair users, and I've watched a lot of people with bikes and strollers use it with ease as well. I like it for my knees that have trouble with the huge stair-stepping of the shore there.
Great view of the lake…lots of open space for recreation.
