So many hidden treasures in our backyard. Glad I discovered this gem today. I love to ride and this was a blast getting here. Met a local that just rides up to here on a regular basis. He summons it up. It's always different each time.

Be nice if you could go on the lake, everything is completely fenced off. Still fairly pretty area though

It's a reservoir with a dam. It is fenced off by Metro Vancouver and the water cannot be accessed. There is a picnic bench, and a covered gazebo for short breaks. In the summer, there is a drinking water fountain running near the gazebo

The trail is amazing for biking. However, it's a shame the lake is closed to public. It would have been better if they made a better area for sitting and enjoying the view. Btw, watch out for bears there. There is a high chance you will see/encounter them.

Wonderful place to spend the day.

Great place to ride your bike to. Paved road all the way in. Can't get pass the dam gate. But a great place explore. Fish hatchery is near by as well.
Ali Hodjat
No public access beyond the dam. Almost 12 km very beautiful and amazing path and trail to get there , hiking or biking.

Long 12 kilometer trail from LSCR parking lot to the lake viewpoint, best accessed by bike, or a long but relatively easy hike as trail is paved. This is where the drinking water for Metro Vancouver partly comes from and a short trail off to the right will lead you to an old iron bridge from which you can view the dam that holds the lake water back. Wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
