Connected to Chinese garden. Although in Jul 2023, entrance to Chinese Garden is ongoing construction. There are shops within the station too - Mr Bean, a bread shop within a coffee shop seeing Chinese food, Cheers nearby. There is also a toilet and ATMs within the station. Tortoise museum is no longer at Chinese garden (saw reviews mentioning that it is connected to the tortoise museum). Science centre, Jurong East swimming complex nearby.
It is very close to many places like the live turtle museum, the connector bus routes are also quite good if u want to go to the attractions in jurong
I actually went to this station back in 2018, and the space and restaurants and bakery located at this station exceeded my expectations.
Despite the garden being under renovation now, it still provides a good side for nice scenery.

Culturally rich place. Very peacefully and scenic location. Great atmosphere for Jogging / walking / Meditation. Excellent for photography.
Just across the japanese garden. Everything in this place is amazing! You can also enter the Live Turtle Tortoise museum. Oh, and the roaming lizard. :-)
Nice free place. Avoid Sundays, since is very crowded. Live turtle 🐢 museum is good, but is not free, only S$5 thou. Also worth the trip is the Bonsai area. Enjoy 😉
I loved it. The garden is not much large but is very well designed. You can spend some quality time away from the burden of the city if you love long walks. What I loved most was the bonsai garden. A great place for nature lovers and architects. (Because you could observe traditional chinese and japanese architectural designs there)
Loved this place, very peaceull and quiet. Restrooms are clean. The gardens are right next to mrt
