Discover the flavors of the community at this charming local market! The food here is exceptional, and I highly recommend trying the delicious giros - they're a must-try! The market offers a wonderful atmosphere and a great selection of local cuisine. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a quick bite, this market is a gem worth exploring. Definitely add it to your list of places to visit!

What a unique shopping experience! I wish I could compare it to something else, but I can't.
Just walking in felt like a foreign experience to me. 2 outdoor covered aisles that were almost entirely fruit and veggies. Then, the best part is the actual indoor market. There must've been about 50 unique little stores. All of which were counterpoint service. You could find small hot food shops, butcher and seafood counters, a handful of delis, bakeries, and specialty shops for things like olives, hummus, and pierogies.
As I was in the main building, I noted that it felt similar to the main building on Ellis Island in NY (if you've gone there).
Everyone was super cool and was willing to talk about their product and explain how it's made.
I wish they had one of these (just like this) in Chicago. The village farmers' markets there just absolutely pale in comparison.
I don't know when, but I'll be back.

Love coming here!!!!! All the different sweets, breads, spices, meats, fruits and veggies is crazy!!! Everything is super fresh and delicious. Never had a bad experience no matter what vendor we bought from. A definite must go to spot if you're visiting Cleveland

West Side Market has great fresh produce, and the other side with food vendors was also ripe with lots of options. I found exotic lion's 🦁 mane 🍄 and huge Monroe 🥑 . The salmon, spinach, and capers crepe from Crepes de Luxe was really delectable! 😋

My husband and I travel the country full time. During our local stay, we added West Side Market to our list of things to see and do.
We entered the food area first. It is a gorgeous building with a nice run since 1912.
We purchased meats from Jim's; we have not tried them yet so we cannot review the vendor. But they look great!
We each got something different to eat for lunch. My husband got a brat from Frank's and he enjoyed it. I got a gyro from Steve's. I'm sorry, but I don't know how it has decent ratings and appeared on any TV shows, because it was so disgusting I tossed it after a couple bites. Half of the meat was thick and fatty and I don't even know what the sauce was. And I am displeased that I paid $13 for it and had to get cash from the ATM that charged additional fees. The only good thing about Steve's was that the girl behind the counter was pleasant.
We purchased pastries from Euro Sweets and tried one of them...so far so good.
The last thing we did was walk fruit/vegetable row before we left. We should have avoided this area. Vendors yelled at us to purchase from them as we passed by. Nothing more annoying than that. We got to the last two vendors before the parking area and I wanted to get sweet corn. The last vendor on the right had corn and green tomatoes. He was slightly pushy but I got only what I wanted. I wish I would have left without making the purchase. Once we returned to where we were staying, I noticed the corn husks were musty. I shucked them and the cobs stunk too. All vegetables went in the trash. A couple terrible purchases made it a huge disappointment in the West Side Market.
It's too bad...this place could be so nice....

A&J Produce is excellent!
They guaranteed their farm fresh corn from Florida was sweet. Boy was it!

They were very nice, organized and professional.
Exceptionally clean, beautiful ❤️ produce!
Highly recommend.

What an amazing place! I've never seen so many different kinds of vendors with such colorful and beautiful products, not even at the local farmers market or state fair. We spent two hours walking through, trying to decide what we had to try and what we had room for in our stomachs lol if you plan on going to Cleveland, make sure you add this place to your itinerary!

Visiting Cleveland on holiday and decided to check out the West Side Market. This place was great with wide variety of fresh seafood, bakeries, meat, produce, cheese just to name a few. You can pick up a coffee but it more a fresh market than eating. There is a little cafe which was very busy. The building is really cool and a great space. Make sure you climb the stairs a one end for a great view. Definitely worth checking out.

I love the Westside Market, it is my kind place. I am from Chicago,IL and I come to Cleveland every year and this is a place I will go when I am here visiting family. The food was wonderful and I can’t wait til next year to go and try Steve’s Gyro’s. The library even gave away free books which were my favorite thing. I recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland needs to visit the Westside Market.

Wow! I loved the architectural design of the building and the stands are incredible. Great place to grab snacks for visitors, a hostess gift (especially the bakeries), and to take home and cook (meats and fish).

What a fantastic market. We spent the weekend in Cleveland visiting family and decided to check out this market. Only wish we lived closer to this place! Everything is so fresh and can do just about all your shopping in one place with local vendors. Lots of free samples everywhere too if you are undecided on something! It was a great experience.

Most prices are more than elsewhere BUT it's very fresh, a big selection including exotic fruits, veges, bakery and meats. Free parking and easy access from freeways. It's not necessarily where we go for everyday groceries but for special meals they got it all. On site food and specialty coffee on site makes it a fun visit.

This was a really fun market to explore! There are so many shops to visit with plenty of ready to eat and "make at home" or grocery options. We enjoyed getting crepes, donuts, and a scotch egg, but if we visit again there would be so many more things to try. We were just passing through so we didn't grab meet or other to cook ingredients, but everything looked delicious. The building was beautiful as well.

If you live in Cleveland, this is the best place to shop for food. This market has everything. We purchased a few desserts and some home made smokies. The bacon wrapped mini dogs were my favorite! It's a must stop if you're here In Cleveland!

We try to go here whenever we are in Cleveland (we live 2 hrs away). There is so much good food here. It's always easy to find something new and unique. As an Englishman, my favorite vendor is Reilly's. They have great Irish pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Plus their scones are spot on.
