Beautiful park! However the trails are relatively short, so if you’re looking for a jog longer than 1.5-2 miles, I don’t recommend this. The path is great if you’re looking for a one mile jog.

We couldn’t find any fossils at this park, but it was otherwise beautiful. There were a lot of butterflies there, which was nice. Yet another must-see in Middletown, New Jersey.

Had a cub scout meeting. They taught the kids how to locate your home on a map, how to use a map to find important items and use a compass on a scavenger hunt on a trail. Kids had a great time.

This is a hidden gem, if you want to escape for a little bit come here. Car parking ample, nice facilities and trails. Nothing too strenuous but then, you came here for you - just take 30 minutes, deep breaths, soak it all up and make yours and other peoples day better.

This is a small park I visited while I was at my in laws. The trails are not long nor hard but if you want to enjoy the outdoors for a short time then this place is perfect. They also have a green roof demonstration which was pretty cool.

Very cool place. The trails I was on are over grown. A few families searching for fossils in the river. It wasn't buggy but muddy. I entered from the backside of the park, not the main entrance, so the trails are probably in different condition.

I have been going here since I was a little kid . They have a lot of live animal on display. They have class for kids to learn about nature. There's a lot of trails to explore, walking dogs, jogging & walking. They have a souvenir shop to have reminder of your trip. Fun for one and all.

This is my go to when I need to get away. Everyone I meet there is polite and dogs are leashed properly. Best time to bring kids is during an event. They are frequent enough. But a good hiking and quiet walk place.
