Beautiful church, excellent service and welcoming people
Not any authenticated church with a female pastor, but I seriously appreciated its service.
First and foremost, Covid-19 awareness mask up, distancing & proof Covid vaccinated. Parking garage on 37th street btwn Madison & 5th Ave. As a Parishioner said "u can get married at the little church on the corners" it's next door to the Morgan Chase museum. It was the incarnation turn to host The NY Episcopal Church club prayer meeting . Be prepared for a few staircases in the recreational area. There is the elevstor option.
I'm not religious, so I went to this church off hours to view the architecture. The church is beautiful and impressive to walk through. There are pamphlets at the entry detailing the stories of the stained glass and history of the church. It was well worth the stop inside.
Can't beat Rev. Ousley's sermons, nor the holy sense of place, at Church of the Incarnation. It's a standout in NYC if you're a person of faith, or want to become one.
Beautiful historic church. Intelligent, well delivered, sermons that usually carry a timely message relevant to current events..
Beautiful place! I want to return to go inside but the outside was really nice! Awesome architecture that remind me Mexico or some of those Latin countries with big cathedrals!
I grew up around the corner from Incarnation, I was baptized there on March 2, 1947. My Grandparents both had their Furerals there,,In 1963 Mary Milazzo, and Salvatore Milazzo in 1964. They owned Sams Beauty Shop which was across the street... I have no idea what year they were married, if anyone has information please post.. I know we all spent so much time there every Sunday and Holy Day Masses, as well as Daily Mass a few times a week.. I Loved High Mass with the Organ and Choir... What A Blessing they gave me with Incarnation Catholic Church and Their LOVE.. +jmj+ Candace
