We chose Laba Africa for our dream vacation based on a recommendation from friends who were very satisfied with their services. The agency customized a tour to fit our needs and preferences, and all communication was prompt. Samuel was extremely patient and responsive, answering any questions we had at any time. Their helpfulness and flexibility were amazing.
Despite our last-minute decision, Samuel organized the entire trip within few days. Our guide, Alonso, picked us up at the airport, and from the first moment, we knew we were in good hands. Alonso was funny, experienced, and knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions. He is also a very skilled driver, which is crucial for navigating the local roads. He always ensured we were happy and lacked nothing, taking us to truly special places. Alonso's enthusiasm for his job and his love for his culture and nature were inspiring, making us even more excited to discover the wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The main highlights of our trip were seeing the gorillas in Bwindi Forest and going on a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. However, we also made many other stops and were able to experience the local community, wonderful lakes, and more. Every day, Laba Africa exceeded our expectations, and Alonso seemed to fulfill our every wish.
When we plan our next trip, we will definitely turn to Samuel and Laba Africa. Uganda can be unpredictable, so if you are unsure whom to trust with your tour, definitely go with Laba Africa. We vouch for them.

Les guides anglophones Francis et Alonzo avec l'appui de Cynthia parfaitement francophone nous ont permis chaque jour de découvrir le plus accueillant et fantastique pays que nous ayons jamais visité: l'Ouganda. Chaque jour, les découvertes y ont été plus fortes, entre visite en forêt auprès des primates, visite en savane auprès des lions, léopards, buffles, girafes etc... visite en forêt impénétrable des gorilles avec l'aide de renforts locaux, descente du NIL en petite embarcation, découverte des chutes, nuités dans lieux magiques entourés de personnes les plus bienveillantes.
Chaque jour la charge émotionnelle est alimentée par le professionnalisme EXEPTIONNEL de Francis, Alonzo et Cynthia qui nous ont permis de visiter des écoles, permis d'accéder au quotidien de la population.

What can we say - we love Laba Africa. We are a couple from Amsterdam and we found Laba because we wanted to do a 6 week self drive tour through Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania with a 4x4 with a rooftop tent. We are so grateful we chose for Laba Africa. Sammy, Ivan and the team are amazing people and gave us the best service. We became great friends actually! The car was absolutely amazing. It was a state of the art 4x4 Land Cruiser and the tent on top was brand new and family sized, so ideal for the two of us. We never experienced any issues whatsoever, but in case you would have a flat tire or so - Sammy and Ivan know literally everyone in East Africa so they will have someone at the car in literally minutes, wherever you are. That gave us a safe feeling to self drive. We came across amazing camping ground via the app iOverlander and also the advice of the team. We had a WhatsApp group with Sammy and Ivan and they responded super fast and always with the best advice. It was a trip of a lifetime. Also amazing that we could pick up the car in Kampala and drop it off in Dar es Salaam. We will stay in touch with the whole team and wish them all the best. Book your trip with Laba Africa!! Sammy and his wonderful team made us feel safe and accommodated all our wishes for our tour of Uganda. In April 2023 we spent 4 amazing days with Laba Africa traveling the southwest of Uganda. Visiting Lake Mburo NP, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Lake Bunyonyi was absolutely amazing. Laba's service was outstanding during the whole trip. Alonso - our extremely knowledgeable guide - is the best guide we have ever had: always kind and helpful, answering every question and explaining so much about Uganda, its cultures and landscapes as well as beautiful people.
We can truly say we had the time of our lives and made so many memories we will cherish forever.
