I love this place. It's a technology buff's paradise. Last time I went, there was a floor salesman that I was kind of intimidated to approach and ask questions, tall and very handsome, model material if you ask me. He asked if I needed assistance and within about three sentences I realized he was very polite and seriously awkward but REALLY knew his stuff, just an absolute nerd/geek. It was so refreshing! I got what I needed and as I browsed the store I realized the large majority of employees I saw were the epitome of stereotypical nerds. It's fantastic.

This place has all the electronics anyone could possibly need. There were so many amazing things to buy and look at. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you need any kind of computer, gaming peripheral, or other electronic things, I HIGHLY recommend going to Microcenter.

Update: After seeing my review, the store manager reached out empathetically and resolved my issues completely. They swapped out the back panel of my PC & refunded the motherboard service fee apologizing for the mistakes made by newer employees. I appreciate their corrective action and attention to customer satisfaction. It means a lot to see that some businesses still pay attention.

I regret to say that I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Micro Center. While most of the staff I encountered while shopping and at the cash registers were very helpful, I had significant issues with the service after purchasing a faulty motherboard.

As a newer PC builder, I took my build to Micro Center for diagnostic testing after the motherboard I purchased from them, which still had lighting, failed to boot my system or show any lights with issues of other components. The diagnostic test cost me $43 and confirmed that the motherboard was faulty and the cause of my issues with the system booting. Initially, a staff member reached out to get my password because my storage drives were reused and still had a copy of Windows, which was limiting what they could do. I had already told this to the person who took my PC when I dropped it off, but I explained again that the storage drives had old copies of Windows from my old build. I gave them the password and explained that if needed, they could format the drives.

He informed me that my suspicion of an issue with the motherboard was correct. Everything else appeared to be fully functional as he was actively in my system with a different board. He let me know I had placed one of the fan cables for my AIO in a similar spot that wasn’t intended for it so I'd know in the future. He stated that this made sense, as they looked the same and served similar purposes. They assured me the faulty motherboard was likely the core cause of the issues with my build, but they would complete further diagnostics and stress tests on my other components to check for any other problems.
A few days later, another employee reached out, claiming the motherboard was fried due to my incorrect cabling, specifically stating that I had swapped the GPU and CPU cables. Despite this, they acknowledged my warranty and offered to replace the motherboard for an additional $79 installation fee. This contradicted the initial diagnosis I received via phone, which had more information and clearly indicated the motherboard was simply faulty. This was especially frustrating given they sold me the faulty part in the first place.
When I went to pick up my PC, two seemingly new employees struggled to understand the situation, and communication was poor. They couldn't locate the old motherboard and repeatedly consulted their manager, who was unhelpful. After much confusion and waiting, they finally confirmed the exchange had been completed, but provided no explanation of the diagnostic results or apologies for the confusion. This whole process took about an hour just for them to discover that the motherboard they had removed and lost had already been taken care of in the warranty exchange process.
To make matters worse, my PC case was damaged, and my storage devices were not properly reconnected, necessitating additional effort on my part. The metal where the back panel slides in was nearly falling off, indicating that they had likely ripped it out instead of sliding it up properly. Not only that but they swapped my thumb screws with normal screws.
Overall, despite initially good customer service and a smooth purchasing process, the service I received for addressing the faulty motherboard was severely lacking. I ended up spending nearly as much as I would have if I had paid someone to build my PC from the start. This experience has made me question the reliability of purchasing parts from Micro Center. I felt I had spent so much money on the diagnostic and the labor fee, and it was pointless and caused me much more damage in the end. Quite disappointed.

I’m a huge fan of this store. The best area is the 3D printing machines. The staff are always so excited to help with any project. The Apple area is always bright and clean. The staff in every department always offer help and assistance before you need to ask. Checkout is always quick and check ids which is old school appreciated. If you need anything from a tiny battery to big screen tv, they have it.

Shopped here a few times for my rig so this wasn’t my first visit but the best experience with who was there.. I went a lot earlier than usual and wanted an upgrade from 6750xt XFX.. was thinking the 3080 but got the 6950xt reference card and I couldn’t be happier.. it also suites my build with all the matte black. The CSR helping me was really nice, walked me to the front and kept a convo with me.. shook my hand at the end to.. I forgot his name but he had slicked back hair with a ponytail.. instantly helped me as he saw me walking around the gpus.

First time I have been to this store. Seems to have a good selection of computers, computer parts, and various other electronic devices. Several employees around the store who didn't seem to be trying to avoid helping people. That also makes them more challenging to avoid, but probably not a bad thing overall, for most people. Easy to get to, within about a mile of route 315 on Bethel Road. Will likely hand them some more money at some point.

Probably best gaming/business monitor I’ve ever had…whether I’m playing games solo or playing fifa w friends it’s amazing…but when’s it time to show 3 screens at once w one monitor for business it’s pretty awesome n trust worthy..trust I’ve used this 38” monitor for everything you could think of lol😂also it’s very customizable given brightness and luminosity settings for when it’s late at night or bright at day. I do plan to purchase more of these for my sales teams as this monitor provides great return given the investment!

This is a huge store for all your electronic needs. My daughter wanted to build her own PC so we came here to get all the parts that she needed to do the job. The guy that was helping her was really nice and helpful. She got all the parts that she wanted plus she also got a cool 3-D printer there too. We were satisfied with our experience there.
