I only visited this park briefly when visiting my niece and nephew and they did their parkrun here on a Sunday morning. Lovely green park with lots of play areas and great location for their activities.
I met with someone for a catch-up. We had no problem parking on Buxton Road and Fence Avenue.
We took our own drinks and sat on a bench in the warm early evening. Two people were playing bowls, another two chatting and laughing, lower down the park. So convenient, pleasant and free!

Victoria Park in Macclesfield, Cheshire, is a clean and well-maintained delightful green space that invites both relaxation and exploration. Its proximity to the heart of Macclesfield makes it accessible and convenient.
Good Park for dog walking. The park is split into two main areas.
The upper park has a number of paved walks as well as nice, grassed areas. There is also a crown green bowling area. In this part of the park there is also an old, styled band stand which occasionally has events.
The lower area of the park ha a football pitch and fenced off children’s playground (recently renovated). There is a pathed area around the grassed area.

Pros: pretty park, especially liked the bandstand, lots of bins, clean and well maintained with nice wide paths and some beautiful big trees.
Cons: it's not very big, parking isn't amazing and there's no wall around it as such so really easy for dogs/kids to end up on the road next to it.

The playground has recently been upgraded with new swings, climbing frame, slide and zip line.
Very beautiful and peaceful environment to take a nice stroll. Now Kings school is no longer on fence avenue as well its very easy to park.
Small but well formed park with a bandstand. Needs public toilets to be opened more often.
