I had an amazing experience at this Japanese restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious and authentic. The entire atmosphere had a great vibe, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The menu and drink list were creatively designed and very interesting. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience!

Very cool place. Decor was very interesting. Tables turned over a couple of times while we were there on a Monday night. They were pumping. The service was great. Our waiter was busy but very friendly and helpful. The food was nicely paced and tasted great. Would definitely recommend it and would go back. Shame we don’t live closer.

The food here was amazing! One of the best places I’ve been to on the GC. The non alcoholic ginger beer was the best I’ve ever had! They make their own there!

My visit to Etsu Izakaya on the Gold Coast was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for the Okasama menu at 95 AUD per person, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of each dish. The highlight was undoubtedly the Wagyu steak—cooked to perfection, it was a true delicacy that captured the essence of Japanese culinary expertise.

The service was impeccable. Our waitress was not only polite but also attentive, enhancing our dining experience with her excellent service. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall charm, providing an authentic Japanese atmosphere that was both welcoming and elegant.

Etsu Izakaya is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Japanese cuisine. From the food to the atmosphere and service, everything is crafted to perfection. Highly recommended!

Could not fault this!
One of the best nights out we’ve had!
The food was incredible!
The salmon sashimi is a must!
The service was amazing we went without a booking at 6pm and managed a table the girl was so good and walked us through the whole menu and gave us her favourite recommendation!
Great dining spot! Will be back!

Hands down one of the best if not the best Japanese on the Gold Coast. Drinks are on point, service is great. I have been many times and will return many times. I highly recommend Etsu. Cozy vibe and atmosphere perfect for a date night, or catch up with friends.

Had a wonderful dinner here, it is such a cool bar with excellent food and great vibes. My mocktail was delicious, all the drinks looked so yum. We ordered the set menu and every item was exquisite. I especially loved the skewers which were perfectly cooked and smoky. I would absolutely come back again!
