With not much beach to walk on, a star is missing.
I was having one of the worst days ever. But the beauty that was captivated while smoking a cigar with someone special, truly changed it all.

Really nice beach park although I wouldn't really say it's a beach more of a bay with a sand area to relax. Water looks clean enough to go in. This isn't a typical beach with waves. I saw some folks in the water. 1You do need to pay for parking. There is also a nice boardwalk.
Beautiful spot to chill and relax by the water. The town has a far away small town feel considering how close to New York City it is. Love the area. Will be visiting more frequently in the future. There is head in parking on the street. I believe they charge a fee for non members/residents during the warmer months. But if you're visiting in the colder months the beach is closed (no lifeguards, restrooms closed, noone at the entrance) but you can still use the kids park area, walk around, take pictures 😉
Very nice and peaceful. A hidden gem in Long Island. Too good to be true. It feels like an escape from reality.
I can't believe I found this gem! I finally found a spot to come away from all the business of the city even though this was a long drive from southside of queens. It's going to be my new spot to read a book or watch the beautiful sunset.
