I attended the golf clinic for three beginner lessons with Billy Cullum and it was an amazing experience! Billy is a great teacher (and funny too) and makes learning golf super fun! Highly recommend.
I know it's public and a weekend on a "first tee" inside 9, but the pace of play is insanely slow and the course doesn't help it in any way.
They space tee times 10 minutes apart like they think people play fast. But the pace is always closer to double that. If you want to be inviting to new players, space the tee times to reflect it.
I had an empty tee time ahead of me today (could see it on the app). I hit the tee box for hole 2 and theres 4 carts and 7 footgolfers players 100 yds up the fairway. So they were at least 20 minutes in and had barely gotten off the second tee. And since they had to have 2 tee times half the group was at least 30 minutes in. Waited for them every single hole the rest of the day.
Hole 6 you can see hole 7 coming back at you. There were three groups on both holes (group on the green, group waiting half way for the green to clear, group waiting to tee off).
Ranger drove by twice and never seemed to say a word to anyone about speeding it up; at hole 3 and hole 8.
Nearly 2.5 hours for an inside 9.

Great layout. Multiple tees for different skill sets. Very well maintained, especially for a public course. Good, well stocked pro shop, good club rentals. The range is amazing - it's lit and heated for winter and is open till 9 PM!
Beautiful and long course, good condition and enough variety to make it a challenge. Well stocked pro shop, snack bar and grill with above average fare and a clubhouse patio with a great view of the first tees. Well covered and heated driving range is a plus.
Beautiful and manicured "inside 9" golf course! First time playing there, but not the last. Photo is from the 6th hole tee box. Nice driving range too.
Nice parkland style golf course with very affordable pricing. Staff was very friendly and overall had a good experience here. The course is mostly flat with a lot of wooded dogleg holes.
We play 9 holes every Sunday. They have Good prices, peaceful atmosphere and a friendly staff.
This isn’t really a four-star course. The people working here are great, they run an efficient operation, but unfortunately the course just isn’t up to par with other courses in the area.
You can drive 20 to 30 minutes further north and west and spend the same amount of money fora 4 to 5 star course that blows Northwest out of the water.
On the positive side, everything is fairly well-maintained here and the bunkers are actually very above average. The course has a great layout and great length, especially in comparison to other courses in this area. The greens roll true and are pretty quick.
The negatives are just that there are a lot of patchy spots on both the fairways and the greens. The tee boxes aren’t very well-maintained, generally you are teeing up in a divot or sandy spot. There are weeds growing on the tee boxes as well, not a huge deal, just not a great look for a golf course. There are so many areas just off the rough that seem like they could be cleaned up so easily, it’s unclear why they aren’t. Pipes spewing water into the creek on two separate holes was odd as well.
So much potential here with the layout. If I could give it 3.5 stars I probably would, as it’s hard to beat the location of this course. Needs too many improvements though.
