This is a really great park except for it gets really, really windy being on top of a hill. Four stars because it's so windy almost all the time

Don't see a drinking fountain but there's picnic tables out in the open. Also a playground with regular swings, baby swings, individual spinning rides, saucer swing, slides, and more

Nice little playground for kids.

No more tennis courts or basketball courts. Or public gardens or dog park or any other thing that Rick Birno and the park department deceived us about what we might be getting here.
Dandelions. We have dandelions.

NO BATHROOMS OR PORTABLE RESTROOMS!

This park is as big or even bigger than some regional parks in the Metro area, yet we drove around and walked through the whole thing and never once saw any sort of bathroom or toilet facilities anywhere there. I'm a hardcore park-hopper, I've been to over one hundred parks in Minnesota, and I can state I have never been to one that doesn't have any toilet facilities of any kind, until now. We ended up having to drive many miles away from there just to find a place with a decent restroom. The whole thing was absurd. For a park this large they should have at least a half dozen portable restrooms, or at least a couple pavilions with bathrooms in them. I cannot recommend this place at all. And this is not even getting into the fact that they wait far too long to cut the grass, resulting in huge clumps when they do get around to it. And, why is it that a park this vast has no playground? It's too bad, this could have been a really nice park.

Trails interconnect with the neighborhood well and lots of little hidden gems. Nice sledding hill
Mary B
Great place for sledding with the family!

Nice little park for slightly older kiddos. Not the best for the wee ones. The tennis court is still very much missed and I wish they'd put one back in.

Love this park. My pup Tula & I walk here all the time. She can run and we play without a lot of other people. We've even seen deer while walking after dusk. It's so amazing here. Also we sit and watch the sunsets often.
