MILKY GELATO SHOP

Please Dont fall for the good presentation of gelato on display. They have 2-3 illiterate staff who are extremely rude and hostile. They haven't mentioned price on display anywhere and will overcharge tourists. The gelato is definitely NOT worth it. The management should fire these morons if they want to run the business.

Worst ice cream ever and totally overpriced. It is sad when you have to throw away ice cream for 20 euro because it tastes like the cheapest one from the grocery store. The personnel were friendly and it looked perfect but the taste was really poor.

Worst experience ever ..sooo rude staff...all 3 boys...soooo rude...totally into ..no manners to talk...there were 3 Italians in front of us...they also ordered same Gelato 10 euros..than we ordered same...he gave different thing for us but we paid the same amnt...we asked than he changed it...than we politely asked for a spoon extra...staff boy was sooooo rude...that he never a small plastic spoon to us..after spending and takin Gelato...guys this shop and there staff all 3 boys promote...RACISM..PLS DONT GO HERE...RATHER GO SHOP IN FRONT OF THEM....PLS BE AWARE OF THESE RACISTS...

the waiter was very nice and told us a lot of nice things☺️☺️, it's a pity we only went there once, the ice cream was delicious and the portion was big, thank you!!

I have to say that this gelateria confused me a lot. On the one hand, the negative thing is that it's very expensive. The price was two times up than everywhere else. On the other hand, they put a lot of ice cream based on all the other places I have visited and there are various flavors. Also, we found here different flavors than in other places such as "baileys", which was my favorite and I recommend it if you like trying something different. I want to mention that the staff here was very friendly.

Delicious Italian gelato in a great location near the Trevi Fountain in Rome.

We stopped by Milky Gelato a couple of times during our visit to Rome, and had a great experience on both occasions. Although not cheap, the quality of the gelato is excellent and the scoops are quite large, plus the staff are very friendly also, so you are definitely getting good value for money. Would highly recommend the coconut, white chocolate and dulce de leche flavours which are all very tasty! Plus they also have a few vegan options available as well, so a good stop for those that are looking for a dairy alternative too.

As we headed back to our hotel to get ready for the night we stopped by this place for gelato.

Apparently after reading the negative reviews, we probably were at a tourist trap seeing that it’s right next to the Trevi Fountain.

Well we probably paid too much but I did splurge & get their mega cinnamon cone because why not?

My wife ended up ordering a 3 Scoop Cup with Oreo, Dulce de Leche & Kinder Bueno (Favorite Flavor)

I ended up ordering the 3 Scoop Mega Cinnamon Cone with Raffaelo (White Chocolate), Kinder Bueno & Kinder White (Favorite Flavor).

We didn’t notice a major difference with this gelato, but take that for what you will. We could have both just been infatuated with us just being in Rome together that we didn’t analyze the gelato to the best of our abilities. I will say though I will always have fond memories of the cinnamon cone!

We had a pretty good experience, but it is sad to hear about the other reviews.
