Nice place for a short walk on the banks of the Mississippi (when it’s not flooded). I enjoy watching the barges go through.

Wonderful for fishing, boating, and picnicking. Nature's best and a great view of the Mississippi.

Decent spot for fishing! Beautiful view and very private with not a lot of people which makes it a great spot, just not a lot of fish come by, but good for carp

Extremely beautiful place. Whether you'd like to fish. Have a picnic go for a walk or simply just have some peace and quiet. And also if you want to take your boat out they have nice access for everything. Went today for my first time. Oh my goodness! I was so pleased to see nature and its finest.

Although it's most popular for its boat launching spot, it also is a nice place just for walking and enjoying nature right next to the Mississippi River. When I have been here, there are usually not many other people around, so it is a nice place for anyone who likes to be alone.

Stopped to picnic at this little island park. Disappointed that the stairs to bring you to the lower parking lot and bridge to the island were torn out and it didn’t look like they were attempting to replace them anytime soon.
The overlook from the upper parking lot didn’t overlook anything as I’m guessing the trees have all grown since it was put in.
The walk around the island was interesting with some amazing fallen trees and an odd little broke and bent what looked to be a loading dock at some point.
It was a great place to wander around even with the over growth of weeds and such!

Truly an amazing place to go to relax and nice trails and water areas. Also has grills in the area for grilling and spending time with family or friends

Nice place to watch the river flow by. Fishing is a past time and boating. Very quiet and clean.
