Joined my friend at Boro Bean after hearing their endless praises, and I wasn't let down. While they savored the "Sunny Farmhouse Delight", I indulged in the "Boro Farm Breakfast" - every bite exuding freshness and quality. The crispy bacon, soft scrambled eggs, aromatic rosemary potatoes, and tangy sourdough were impeccable. But the true highlight? Their decadent hot cocoa. Velvety, rich, and the perfect warmth for a chilly day. Sharing these culinary delights with a friend in Boro Bean's cozy ambiance was an unforgettable experience. Definitely coming back! Great service too!

Boro Bean truly is an undercelebrated gem in our community. Every visit unveils a masterclass in culinary innovation, especially with their breakfast dishes. The "Sunny Farmhouse Delight" is a case in point—a flawless ensemble of sun-dried tomatoes, the freshest arugula, creamy avocado, and an impeccably cooked egg with the most luscious runny yolk, all nestled within a perfectly toasted ciabatta. It's a symphony of flavors and textures in every mouthful.

And let’s talk about the coffee! Sourced from top-tier beans, each cup boasts a rich aroma and smooth finish, offering the perfect pick-me-up whether you're starting your day or taking a mid-afternoon break. It's evident that they've honed their brews to perfection.

My companion's "Boro Farm Breakfast" was equally impressive. Crispy bacon that was neither too thin nor overly thick, eggs scrambled to velvety perfection, golden roasted potatoes with just the right hint of rosemary, and a slice of their house-made sourdough that seemed to echo the very essence of comfort food.

Now, while browsing reviews, I did notice a sprinkling of negative comments. But frankly, they smack of the nitpicky complaints we've all seen from those who seem to revel in being hard to please. Don't be swayed. Boro Bean offers an authentic, heartwarming experience that resonates long after the last bite or sip. It's a testament to what passionate cooking and brewing can achieve, and more people should be singing its praises. Highly recommended!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and cappuccino this morning. The sandwich was great, but unfortunately, the girl working the counter didn't have experience working the espresso machine, which I only found out after I'd had a SCALDING HOT sip of my cappuccino. I was even charged almost a dollar for 1 pump of syrup, only to find out twenty minutes later, after my coffee had cooled to drinkable temperature, that it wasn't added to my drink. Very disappointing experience. I feel bad for the girl working the counter, but at the same time, I can still feel the burn on my tongue and won't be able to eat or drink without pain for a few more days.

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, lots of options. My favorite is the cream cheese and lox sandwich with tomato, red onion, capers, and thin slices of cucumber. Cappuccino is very good as well.

Love this local cafe. Usual pit stop on a bike ride. Coffee, food and muffins are great. Prices are reasonable too. I love vibe on the weekends.

Great location in downtown Hopewell, and since my parents live close by I have stopped in many times over the years. I’d be in more if they offered any vegan options. A few vegetarian options but after removing all dairy, the dishes are pretty bland. Plus staff has never seemed very accommodating. I’ve only ever gotten drip coffee, which has been burnt more often than not. Pretty noisy, but quieter spots in back and side porch. Free street parking. Nice spot to meet up, but hoping they broaden the menu with vegan options.

Drove by for months and made my first yesterday visit. Coffee was excellent and the blueberry muffin was the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of muffins. It was packed with blueberries, but not soggy. Great crunch on muffin top. Unlike other small coffee shops, they bake their own muffins and scones. I will make it a regular stop on the back-to-work commute.

You have got to stop in and see owners, Johnny and Ellen Abernathy. This is a small town, everyone knows everyone and they have some of the most delicious food you might have ever had. Their special wood fired bagels aren’t available every day, but when they post that they are you need to run down and get them. They offer Wi-Fi and front porch and yard seating. Open early for a great latte. Their paninis are scrumptious. Definitely not a place to miss.
