Had lunch with 6 of us. Called beforehand and explained my daughter’s allergies and she was ill even before we left the restaurant. ( we’ve eaten there safely in the past) Never mind they got both the drink and food orders wrong and 3 of the 5 fries where cold.
I went here last week with my partner and thought that the food was surprisingly decent given other reviews I’ve seen. Would say it’s a bit overpriced for the quality (we got fish and chips and a salmon dish), but I was satisfied with my meal. Our waitress was really nice and attentive, and my only comment on the food itself is that my mashed potato side could’ve been warmer.
Starting with the positives, this place is great for families and seems to take great pride in accommodating any dietary restrictions you might have. More than any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Thumbs up to that. Service was great and friendly.
With that said, The 110 grill in Malden is, simply put, a decent restaurant that provides decent food that will leave you feeling satisfied walking out, without remembering what you even ordered. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was what you would expect at the price point. The atmosphere is a notch above what you get at a National chain restaurant. I’ve got nothing bad to say and all my positives are at the front of this review.

TLDR:
- gave us a very bad table even with reservation
- service was slow
- I was given the wrong sandwich twice
- waters were brought very late
- pearberry drink was gross, cheap tequila
Had a very disappointing experience at 110 Grill. My friend had called ahead ahead to reserve a table for our party. When we came, they clearly didn’t have anything set up, which would have been fine, except that the table they took us to was in the middle of very bright sunlight. We wouldn’t have been able to see each other or read the menu. This was particularly disappointing because the restaurant was pretty empty at that time, so it would have been easy to set up a table in another area ahead of time. We asked them to change our table and they set up another one in a better spot.
The next disappointment was that it took a long time, 15+ minutes, for the waitress to come to our table for the first time. We were in a bit of a rush, so we immediately put in food and drinks. I was interested in the grilled cheese with tomato soup, where the grilled cheese was supposed to come with American and goat cheese and an aioli spread. I don’t like American cheese, so I asked the waitress if I could substitute that specific one with something else, while keeping everything else in the sandwich the same. She said it would be possible and that she would return with a list of other cheeses they had.
5-10 minutes after she left, we were brought some appetizers that we had ordered. The strange thing was that we hadn’t gotten our waters yet. They came a few minutes after. When the waitress did bring the waters, she showed me the list of cheeses and I said I’d like to replace the American with the Cheddar.
Soon after that, the meals were brought out. The sandwich they brought me had American cheese, not cheddar. I waited for the waitress to come back with our drinks (they hadn’t been brought yet) and told her that the cheese was wrong. So she took the sandwich and came back ~5 minutes later with what was literally just cheddar cheese between 2 pieces of bread - all the other ingredients had been left out for some reason. Since we were tight on time, I didn’t ask them to change the sandwich again but was definitely very disappointed.
Also, the pearberry drink I ordered was made with cheap tequila - besides me, 2 other people in my party tried it and thought it was gross. I did not finish it.

It's a nice place, with outdoor dining overlooking the road- that is a plus point. Although they limit the number of people in a group you can sit out, or if you are a big group, reserve in advance. Else you can sit inside
The menu is extensive. When we visited the place, it was short staffed, so we had to wait for water, drinks, food to come. It was a very long wait.
The food was really delicious and portions were good enough.

Is a brand new place, good atmosphere, Nikki our server was pretty nice, kind, friendly, and great adviser for the menu in case is your first time like me in that place. Drinks were perfect, food took time to be served but still was good and warm, dessert so yummy.
The new 110 Grill in Malden was a great first experience. The outside patio is perfect for eating outside during a nice summer night. It can get a little noisy with the train and traffic but it is nice to sit outside. Our waitress Viviane was amazing and catered to our every need. The food was also amazing! The firecracker shrimp appetizer was delicious. Their drinks were also very good too. Will definitely be going again to try new things!
