My husband and I recently had the most heartwarming (and delicious) experience at B1. After a long and exhausting day, we arrived at the restaurant just after closing time, looking visibly worn out and hungry. To our surprise and immense gratitude, the owner, who is far from your typical restaurateur, opened the kitchen just for us.

This gesture was beyond anything we could have expected. The owner treated us like family, ensuring we were comfortable and well-fed despite the late hour. The food was not only delicious but also made with an evident passion for cooking and hospitality.

Such kindness and dedication to customers are rare to find. B1 is now a special place for us, not just for its excellent food but for the incredible warmth and care shown by the owner. We can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

I ordered their ribs. I was told that they were some of the best in the city. They were boiled with little flavor, but WORSE than that, they were freezer burned. Why would anyone freeze ribs!? The only way to eat them was putting massive amounts of BBQ sauce on them.

Maybe I just hit them on a bad day but my meal was funky. I ordered the ribs and something wasn’t right. I had to use a lot of sauce to choke them down. I stopped eating them and other people treated them. No one liked them. Angeline said that they were just not fresh - ugh

That’s a lot of money to pay for not fresh food, especially ribs!!

Great food and great service every time we go here. Allison, who has been our waitress, is very attentive and will refill our water without asking. One time, we were on the dance floor, and she came over to let us know our dinner was at our table. Great place for bands to play as the sound is great. You may think the price of the food is high; however, the quality and the quantity of food make it worth it. 2 of us split an appetizer and a dinner. Carrot cake is enough for 4 people!

Lisa was incredible! My mom and I came here for the brunch and she recommended the breakfast pizza and the breakfast burrito. Both were amazing!! Thank you for the experience, WE WILL BE BACK!

Love this place! Best bloody mary and mimosa bar in the area! If you haven't been here for it then you're truly missing out!! It's recently under new ownership and it's the best thing ever. The homemade carrot cake is also to die for! The entire menu is absolutely phenomenal! Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming! Our waiter, Tommy was great with making us feel welcome and explaining the amazing specials they have throughout the week. After dinner we ordered some drinks at the bar from the bartender, Linda, she was awesome! When we asked for a specific shot she was super friendly and accommodating in figuring out exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the amazing staff!
