Today was a busy day our waiter did not greet us and introduce himself
He also did not inform us that there are welcome starters.
We had to keep following up on him to take our order.
I would understand if it was a busy day but it was not and I highly recommend that the service offered improves to all types of customers irrespective.

We ordered through Uber Eats tonight. My prawn Curry, 6 prawns. Almost no sauce. My son's Chicken Maninas - no chips. Cheese and pepadew rissoles, soggy. Out of pocket: R819 with tip to driver. Wow, how VERY disappointing! Wen chatting to the restaurant, they wanted to blame the missing order on the driver, while the package was neatly sealed. Even worse!
I have bough their Mozambique curry for some time now and truly enjoyed it however recently it has been tasting watered down and just purely dissatisfying. The quality has changed
Excellent food as always. However, the same cannot be said about service. Food needs to be served taking into accounts weather...e.g. food warmer with platters, teapot for tea, heaters in restaurant - running out of gas is not an excuse! Running out of alcohol needed to make Shooters on the menu is also unacceptable! I had guests and was left embarrassed by all that was lacking. I have also always thought the desserts menu was dismal and the once that I ordered the cheese cake, it was not good at all! Definitely not the right texture either. So this time I made seperate reservations for dinner elsewhere. Would be good to enjoy all 3 courses at the same place!!!
The service was ok, a bit slow and could be improved. The food was okay, initially we had to send back the chicken and calamari because the put the wrong flavour. When they brought it back it seemed like they just threw a new sauce on top of it. After querying with the manager, they made a new fresh plate. Rice was ok, does not really taste like coconut rice.
Not good value for money. You get far more decent value from other franchises, not the Sunninghil branch. I've included a picture of my Uber Eats order of 5 medium prawns with rice. At other Mozambik restaurants you get better presentation and larger prawns in their shells. It's the first time I've had them presented like this. Over R100 fo this? Never again.

We had a lovely lunch with friends today. Hot Jozie weather called for some delicious food. Milkshakes and Mojitos were yummy and served chilled. Food was delicious but could have been served hot. Service was a bit slow with just 1 waiter for a table of 12.
7th of April, we returned and it was a much better experience. Food was great as always, Coco our waiter was on point and the Live Musicians added a cozy ambiance to a cold day in Jozies
