Lots of trails and the park is well maintained. The bathrooms are clean too. I love to hike in the early evening in the summer. I hope to hike all the trails.
Great hiking. Trail is washed out from years ago being cobblestoned over. Some portions are pretty rocky and steep. Others still paved and easy. But worth the views. I went at sunrise and stayed at the top for a good 20 minutes taking in the views.
Amazing first time experience and grateful to the host, who served us all Biscuits and Gravy at the peak! Tough climb but we'll worth it.
Had some time before a flight. Took the nature trail loop. Very nice walk. Took about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. Easy and quick access back to PHX rental center.
Very strenuous hike, 2.5 miles one way and all uphill, walking over rocks and boulders most of the time. In essence pretty much climbing up uneven stairs the whole way. The return downhill takes it's toll more on the joints, particularly knees while the uphill is murder to your cardiovascular system. The hike is 5 miles round-trip but the view up top is immaculate and a must see, particularly at sunset. Stick around a while to see the lights over the city after dark. Be sure to carry plenty of water, a headlamp, and proper foot attire. Tough hike for sure, bet definitely worth it. No dogs allowed BTW.
Very crowded. I started at 6:30 AM on a Sunday and the trail was already packed. You can tell it’s a very popular spot. Got down by 8:30 and the heat was already unbearable. Got up and down in 1.5 hours. Nothing crazy, just a bit steep and tests your endurance. The views were very nice
Wonderful hiking area within minutes of downtown Phoenix and surround areas. The hike to the summit gets quite busy especially on weekends so make sure you get there early to grab parking.
Carry plenty of water to counter the desert heat and sun. Views from the top are spectacular.

Great area to hike. The trail was slightly crowded by 9am. However, it was still very enjoyable, and we didn't feel like anyone was on top of us. It's worth going to the very top. The views are incredible.
Bring plenty of water and sunscreen, the sun is on you most of the hike. There's a lot of loose rock, so come prepared.
