I have never seen anyone with such a bad attitude and bad customer service. All I ask is to change 2 items in different bags while the lady just started packing. OMG she gave me such unnecessary comments and was angry to me.
In fact the bakery items were average at most. I find them lack of favor. And the black egg pastry taste was off.
Happy bakery was NOT too happy. Will never go back.

Great place to stop in quickly. The shop is clean and organized. Pineapple bun was soft and had a good crust. There were two types of egg tarts- cookie shell and the flaky crust. I opted for the flaky crust and was pleasantly surprised that they were in a heated case. They also had a deal for buying a coffee from their automated espresso machine for a combo price.
This traditional bakery has been in my hood and I could never resist buying from them when the bus-stop was right outside. They have since moved to this new location (just few doors away) and I am sure regular customers will still patronise them.
I love their crumbly egg tarts. Not too sweet … it always melt in my mouth. Worth the calories.
Now that i don’t live in the hood, I will still patronise this shop whenever I visit the hood. Just glad they survived the pandemic!

Discovered this chinese bakery by accident. Clean shop, great looking buns. And it is so cheap! As low as $7. I got the paper cupcake ( 紙包蛋糕 ) also for $7, taste great. Highly recommend!
Known for its delectable nostalgic treats such as cream cone puff pastry, this year's reopening has lured in numerous food enthusiasts from all corners of the city. Any connoisseur of traditional pastries would not be disappointed with their selection of timeless classics, including the beloved pineapple bun, egg tart, “chicken tail” bun…
Old is good neatly described this place. Personally I prefer their biscuit crust egg tart than the layer crust. Best for me is the coconut tart !! Staff is friendly and can remember all your order
Delicious.
Went around wanchai and picked pineapple buns, char sui buns and egg tarts from ABC, Pak see kut and from happy cake.
Apart from the pineapple bun (I preferred Pat See Kut), Happy cake shop’s items were so yummy. The char sui bun was really well filled and the bun was perfect. A must try. The egg tart was outstanding (personal preference the classic one than the cookie base one although very nice).
Tried also from them the century egg one, the lotus and egg yolk one, the red bean bun and the lotus one, all very nice. Do go and try everything it’s very yummy and cheap. Cash only for the moment. No English description so hoping that google translate did a good job!!

This traditional bread shop is about to close. And their bread is so fresh and unbelievably cheap!
I tried the cream bun, the cream is so rich and creamy, the bun is soft.
And the egg tart is so crispy, with the sweet custard, simply delicious!
The chicken pie is so rich, with thick pastry, cookie like texture , with chicken meat inside, an old hk style pie, it is so fulfilling
The red bean cake is another old hk style cake. The red bean cake got rich red bean flavor, not so sweet, it goes well with oolong tea.
Overall, the bread is so fresh and high cp value, also a taste of childhood memories.
