People's Park Centre is a prominent commercial complex located in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown district. It has been a fixture of the area for years, and its diverse mix of shops and businesses makes it a multifaceted destination

Crafters' haven. For yarns, beads, sewing stuff, bag making etc. Lots of snack corners to rest at in between shopping. Lots of good foot reflexology places that are reasonably priced. Good money changers. Get your shoes or watches fixed. Gold and precious stones jewellery shops. Clothes shoes and more at decent prices.

Variety of delicious food. The laksa at basement is wonderful. Enough clam and prawns are fresh.

Interesting mall to get lost in. They probably have something that you are looking for. Got the early 2000s vibe walking through it. With I had more time to fully explore it and the surrounding ones. Found out while trying to get to the other malls that they are linked or have paths to and from the other malls.

In People's Park Centre, there is an excellent traditional dessert cafe, "Tong Shui" which in Cantonese literally means "Sugar Water". I have been making a special trip there over many years to get my Cantonese dessert fix. Their Cantonese desserts remind me of my years in Hong Kong. They also have many local desserts like Bo-bo cha cha, Cheng Teng and Tau Suan. We were there for the ginger tang yuan soup dessert(fillings of peanut and fillings of sesame) during the Winter Solstice. We also had red bean soup with gingko nuts. They were both excellent. The place can get crowded during lunch hours. Do not expect 5 star service. You pay at the cash counter, and the dessert is delivered to your table. Take note of your table number before ordering.

Convenient to get here as its located just in the other side of the chinatown through the bridge or just exit from Chinatown MRT.
Quite large center with stores for shopping and services. 2nd-3th floors are specialized on massage and beauty therapy. There are some big and cheap grocery stores too that offer great range of products.
Also having a food center.

Interesting mall full of tat that you might find interesting and want to buy. The food hall is well stocked with many kinds of dishes. The staff are very friendly and not pushy. It differently has an old school feel to it. Most of the shops offer Chinese goods for example medicine or books. There are quite a few massage parlors too.
