Went to see the Michael Jackson Broadway show at The Majestic in San Antonio, Texas. The show was good. Venue is something else-been there twice and it still feels like a magical place when I walk in there. However, they could do with new seating. The Seats there are kinda small and not very comfortable, but the two times I’ve been there, the house was still full - no empty seats. They have stocked mini bars, a coffee bar and they also have a food area. This venue is a must see for Broadway show enthusiasts and just theater enthusiasts in general.
Lovely Theater! Watched MJ the Musical there and it was a great venue to do so. Has the age and charm of the Broadway theaters but has appropriate sized seats. I am 6'5" and actually had room between my knees and the seat in front of me. All of the art in the theater is so intricate and beautiful. Definitely a place to come watch a show if you have the chance.
Loved this theatre so much! The design and architecture was beautiful, we arrived 30 min late to our event and still the guards at the entrance were soo nice to us, we entered with no problem, found our seats very easily which were orchestra left row T seats 29, 27, 25, it had an excellent view. I highly recommend and plan to go again soon.
This is one of the most beautiful and ornate theaters in the country. I've seen so many shows here and never had a bad experience. If you're a fan of atmospheric theater architecture, this is probably one of the most well preserved examples out there. I would recommend not sitting too far back on orchestra level as sometimes this can be obstructed view. Also, give yourself time before your show to get there early as sometimes there's a line to get in.
Great venue! Beautiful preservation of a theater almost 100 years old! Upgraded modern amenities. Always very clean and well-staffed. The environment depends on the show! Some shows are even themed throughout the theater!

Nice place. The interior design was really cool looking baroque style (i think). Felt very classy. We went to see a musical. Don't have footage of that because don't allow phone recordings of the onstage performances. I occasionally saw people who worked for the theater going up to people during the show and blocking peoples cellphones using their hands. Nothing against the workers, of course, they were just doing their jobs, I just thought it was funny.
I was shocked on how BEAUTIFUL this theater is. The staff are all knowledgeable and professional. Took my granddaughter (4) to see FROZEN. We had awesome seats with tables to put our drinks & snacks! The convenience of ordering from the App was a plus! My granddaughter enjoyed every moment of it. The performance was excellent!
Seat view from Mezzanine Left AA 4 & 5.
Always enjoy seeing shows at The Majestic. Recently came to see The Book of Mormon on a Sunday afternoon. It's a simple and fast process to enter with a bag inspection and walking through a metal detector. Doors usually open an hour ahead of showtime, so plenty of time to get in, get refreshments, and be seated.
Seats and area in front of seats are tight, but typical of many theaters. Never been disappointed in any seat as each provides a great view with Mezzanine and Balcony sections have good stadium seating. Box seats are great as well. Theater itself is beautiful with great visuals, effects, lighting, and audio.
