not my cup of coffee (literally). didn’t really enjoy my drink. was too hot and i burnt my tongue. the taste was a bit strange, not sure if the espresso was burnt, or the milk (oat) wasn’t mixed properly.

the coffee shop itself is quite small and dark. don’t really have a problem with that, it’s just a personal preference. the high chairs weren’t really comfortable though and too small for my bum :(

haven’t tried their food, but they had a few options with and without meat

Have been going to the artisan for 3 years the staff were always brilliant food always good, until I asked for a slight change in a dish because I have developed diabetes, never again the girl threw the plate on the table and told me that I am not special and this would be the last time she would change this dish for me. Then when she delivered my sons lunch, demanded that I should respect her. As a 70 year old woman being spoken to like dirt I won't respect her and doubtful if I will go back. The end of this argument that I was to blame. Just because I didn't want cheese and croutons on my chicken salad.

It's the cutest café in Edinburgh, and the best part is Mike and Vivi, who serve the customers wonderfully. The coffee and cheesecakes are highly recommended. I think it will be my go-to café every morning.
