It's been a while we didn't see the sunset because of the weather,,this time we we're able to watch it, so fulfilling after long day work.
Great little hike! Bring water, you'll need it! ;-)
There was not a view at all along the trail, although it was quite an unique trial on the east Bay Area for its being mostly shaded. The upper part of the trail in a loop was easy to walk, but the lower part to memorial park was pretty winding and poorly maintained.
Ample space for parking can be found at the Hayward Plunge Pool.
Decent trail for biking, albeit steep inclines when traveling eastbound. Narrow single track can be difficult to traverse at times. Usually not very busy
Very steep and challenging out and back hike. We went in about 1.7 mi and turned around.
