I loved this park. Took my nephew to spend some time playing and hiking. I was really impressed with how adaptive the playground is. There are many options for differently abled children. And equipment for kids of all ages. I also loved the hiking trails. My nephew was more into the playground but we did explore the trails a little. There are nice restrooms with filtered water refilling station.
Great park space for all ages! Lots of open space to throw a football or have kids run in the playground.
Very clean park. Brilliant thinking in creating two separate playgrounds. Bonus Points for having the book box for kids to leave/borrow books.📚 Love it !!!❤️
Nice park, with playground and splash, with picnic area. Celebrated my son's birthday party before at this park. Kids are having so much fun ! One thing short, maybe need to plant more flowers to beautify.. I guess this is the best park in Brownsburg, Indiana.
Awesome big playground. To bad it was so hot & humid we only played for 30 min. So fun for littles. Swings and bridges. Plenty of parking, grass, walking areas. Can't wait to go when it's not so hot
Such a beautiful park wish there were more plenty of entertaining items for the kids. It was the hottest day of the yr and splash pad wasn't ready. Nice that there was an ice truck there to chill things off
There's no longer a shelter right outside the entrance to Blastoff, But rather a menagerie of benches in mulch. There's so much to keep you busy here,a trail at the back end that's a nice adventure, the butterfly garden, the splash pad, the military salute out front, the blast off, the basketball courts, the path that loops the park the great expanse of Greenspan, abundant shelters with plenty of tables, there's a building with bathrooms at each end, wonder stations throughout to encourage the kids. This will keep everyone engaged for many hours
This park has it all from a splash pad for kids to gazebos for parties. The best part for me though are the hiking trails. You start out on a paved path by the splash pad. Once you get onto the maple trail, you have many options. You can stay on the gravel path which is a very short hike. However, off the gravel path are many more rugged paths through the woods. Several of these trails lead down to the water. You can’t really get lost because all of the trails eventually end up back on the gravel path. This hike is fairly easy and a little shorter than I prefer but you can go around several times and you can also take many different paths into the woods.
