nice atmosphere to spend the evening, watch the sunset from among Boston's buildings. Privileged view, beautiful people, good music and free entry. You enter through the hotel. There's Parking very close.
While the view is magnificent, it’s kinda ridiculous that you pay 20$+ for a cocktail served in a plastic cup. Also although there was no one, we were not allowed to use the tables / seating area a bit further away from the super loud speakers since it was “closed”.
We made a reservation for a "harbor box for 8" and was impressed with how good the experience was. Server was so attentive even though it appears that she was serving multiple tables. She kept track of our minimum and made recommendations to order the green tea shot which was delicious. I would definitely go back there!
Loved the view of the rooftop bar, it was unreal seeing the skyline. The ladies at the standing room bar were great and brought good energy too.
Now for the constructive criticism- I’m not for bashing people or places, but the professionalism was low here. I’m only giving feedback because this can help management better understand their points of improvement, since customers do keep the place running. I understand employees have to deal with drunk people heckling them frequently but they have shouldn’t assume every patron is like that. Management should find ways to increase employee satisfaction.
The guy checking IDs wasn’t pleasant and the first person to greet you normally sets the tone for the place. Then, we walked to the bar on the right side with chairs and asked where we can go and they got snippy with us too. We were asking where we could go to sit or see if we could just walk to the standing room bar. We were better off figuring it out ourselves.
We asked the one employee what time the bar closes, he said last call was 11 and the bar closes at 11:30. Cool. This same guy then rushed everyone out at 11:20 and said we had to go. We didn’t even get to finish our drinks. When we tried to, he said “That means you have to start walking to the door now…”
I understand it’s a busy place, but there has to be a better system to get people out with a notice so people can finish their overpriced drinks.
It doesn’t matter what job you do, but how you do your job.
Again, great view and there are good things here. I’d be willing to come back again, but some people might not if they don’t feel welcomed.

Bad service, bad food, our bill had extras added that we didn’t order, they forgot some of our food then it came out with half the listed items on the menu. We arrived for a 7pm reservation, terrible service and it took us 10+ mins to be seated. Views are great but I’d come up and take a photo without taking a reservation. We paid $25 just to book a table. Total rip off. Plastic cutlery and glasses. Like they say.. money can’t buy class. This place is so gauche.
Always one of my first stops when visiting Boston. Great views with a great craft beer selection.
The place was packed when I visited the weekend evening. There was a line and wait time was not that bad. Everyone was working very hard to help all the guests get their drinks.
View:
The roof top view is amazing with beautiful Boston skyline. Drinks are good and good selection of local beers as well.
